Our senior fixtures for the weekend! Our 1st XI are at home against Knockin and Kinnerley 2nd XI whilst out 2nd XI are away at Corvedale 1st XI

Another mix bag of results as our 1st XI pick up a win on the road whilst our 2nds were beaten at home

1st XI Beat Lilleshall 2nd XI by 5 wickets
Matt Ramsey (5-14) and James Churms (3-17) were the pick of the bowlers as Lilleshall 2nd XI were bowled out for 98 runs. Matthew Hartshorn (21) and Daniel Walker led the attack as PCC knocked off the runs for the loss of 5 wickets

2nd XI Lost to Quayside 1st XI by 7 wickets

Losing the toss and batting first, the 2nd XI posted 205/5, with Duncan Short (60*) and a maiden half century for Rob Jones. Unfortunately Quayside claimed victory, with Daniel Lewis Lakelin (2) and Sudhin Udayakumar (1) picking up our only wickets

Both teams remain in 2nd place in Division 5 and Division 8 as we close in on the final few games of the season

Good weekend for the seniors as both picked up big wins on Saturday!

1st XI beat Willey 2nd XI by 9 wickets

Bowling first, Willey finished their 40 overs on 156/8, with captain Jake Edwards picking up 2-24 and brother Tom 2-32. A strong batting performance from Owen Morris (73) and Matthew Hartshorn with another fine half century (55*) to claim the 20 points.

2nd XI beat Quatt 4th XI

Alice Deacon (4-38) and Dan Lewis-Lakelin (3-17) were the pick of the bowlers as the 2nd XI bowled out Quatt 4th XI for 119 runs. Captain Gaz Downes (31*) and James Haigh (25) guided the seconds to victory
