A former traditional Japanese Jiu-jitsu club established, in Shrewsbury, in 1995 by Ken Treherne.

Ken Ju Jitsu was founded by Ken Treherne, Kyoshi, in 1995. Ken achieved his shodan black belt in the World Jiu Jitsu Federation in 1994. Ken worked with the World Kobudo Federation for the early part of his martial arts career. Ken worked with Jiu Jitsu International until the untimely death of his sensei, Richard Morris Soke. Ken handed his club down to his son, Richard Treherne Renshi, in 2019.
