Introducing our Halloween After Dark Swim πŸŽƒ

Join us on Halloween for a special guided swim as the sun goes down and darkness settles over the lake...

This fully lifeguarded swim will take place within our swim-only area and will be complete with atmospheric sound and lighting.

As this event will be taking place during sunset and into night, we ask that swimmers:
- Wear a tow float with battery-powered fairy lights inside
- Wear a headtorch (mandatory)
- Stay within the designated swim area and follow the guidance of our lifeguard team
- Wetsuits are strongly recommended due to the time of the year and expected water temperature

Taking place on Saturday 31st October, from 4:30-5:45pm.

You can book your place here: https://alderford.com/event/halloween-after-dark-swim

We have some great news to share with you!

will be BACK this Christmas telling another heartwarming, hilarious story as part of our Santa Island Experience!

He was away at sea last year and we can't wait to welcome him back this year!

(He will be doing the majority of dates, and on the other dates we will have another fabulous storyteller!)

Fancy joining the Alderford team this winter?

We’re holding a recruitment event on Monday 26th October. We’ve planned it during half term to make it easier for those at school or college to come along.

We have opportunities in:
β€’ Front of House
β€’ Takeaway
β€’ Kitchen Assistant
β€’ Admissions
β€’ Ice Skating

Join us for a friendly, one-hour group session with team challenges and a chance to show us your personality. Meet the team, find out about the roles and let us get to know you!

You must be aged 16 or over by 1st November 2026.

Pre-booking is essential. Book your session time using the link below, and complete the application form.

A little note for parents and carers: we appreciate your support, but please let applicants take the lead. We’d love applications and emails to come directly from the person interested in the job, and the recruitment session is for applicants only.

We want to hear from them and find out why they’d like to join us!
