Shropshire Squash Club

This Thursday we have a squash camp and are encouraging new to squash as well as current juniors. Bring a friend new to squash and get 50% off for both of you. Plenty of spaces in both sessions. Contact details on poster.

Would you like to try squash? Or have you not played for a while?
Our club is putting on some free taster sessions for anyone who is looking to try or re-engage with the sport, and we would love to see as many as possible attend!

You could sign up with a partner, your child/parent or even just come alone and meet some new people, everyone is welcome.

The sessions will take place at our club, located on the grounds of Shrewsbury School, just off Ashton Road on 1st, 8th and 15th October.

Tonight both semi finals of the 2024 Shropshire Squash Club Championships are taking place at the club.

Steve Jenks is playing Fin Aimer at 7.30pm

Max Ball is playing Rich Smith at 8.30pm.

Both of the winners will progress into the final taking place on Friday evening.

Hope to see lots of people there!

This weekend our England Squash Masters Mo50, Wo50 and Mo70 teams travel to Dublin for their Home International events which begin later today at the Fitzwilliam Lawn Tennis Club. Safe travels to all players competing this weekend and we wish you the very best of luck in your matches! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿💪🏻

Shrewsbury school retain the club vs. school trophy after SSC played a young team for the future.

Some promising club players made their debuts including 10 year olds George and Fred.

Top prize in a raffle held at Shropshire Squash Club's annual charity event was a pair of goalkeeper gloves that had belonged international and England football star Joe Hart His dad Charlie was a key figure in organising the fundraising event which raised £1,200 and brought together over 50 players from Shropshire Squash Club, Shrewsbury Squash & Racketball Club and Castle Country Club Huge thanks to everyone who attended and to Joe for his very kind donation.
