Every top counts towards your overall score, with the top 6 climbers in each category across both rounds making it through to the Grand Final on Saturday 12th September at Climbing Hut Ellesmere Port. And, for the first time, cash prizes will be up for grabs! 💰

Krimptonite Round 2 is almost here! 💥

Join us on Friday 17th July as Krimptonite heads to Climbing Hut Shrewsbury for the second and final qualifier! 🔥

Then it’s on to the Grand Final at Climbing Hut Ellesmere Port on Saturday 12th September.

To make way for Round 2, the downstairs walls will be stripped on Thursday 16th July, before being reset and reopened from 7pm on Friday night. 🙌

Opening night will feature 30 brand new problems, games, prizes and a great atmosphere. The climbs will span the full grade range, so whether you’re aiming for the final, trying your first competition, or just fancy an evening of fresh climbs, there’ll be something for everyone! 👌

The wait is over, Krimptonite is back for 2026! 💥

Friday 29th of May marks the launch of this year’s Summer League, kicking off with Round 1 at Climbing Hut Ellesmere Port 🌞 With it all building to an epic grand final on Saturday 12th of September!

On the opening night we will have a prizes up for grabs a raffle plus beat the staff challenges all to go along with 30 new problems to get stuck into! 🙌

Our Summer league runs across both and . We’ve reduced the number of rounds to two this year but made each one longer. Giving you more time to rack up points, refine your beta, and push your way up the leaderboard 📈

Male & Female categories work as follows:

Mountain Goats (7-10) | Teens (11-15) | Open (16+) | Vets (45+)

You will get 10 points for every top and +3 points for a flash. Problems will cover the full grade range, and as it’s a project-style comp, you’ll have plenty of time to figure things out and improve your score.

Getting involved is simple! Sign up at the front desk, collect your scorecard and start logging your sends. ✍️🧗

💷 Entry is £10 per round or £15 for both rounds.
For the first time we will be offering up Cash prizes for the winners on Finals Day! 🏆💰

The top 6 climbers in each category across both rounds will qualify to battle it out in the Grand Final at Climbing Hut Ellesmere Port 🔥
