Acorn Ponds Glamping Site

Please note we are no longer accepting bookings. We want to thank all those past customers as we begin our retirement.

It does get wet in the winter months, but beginning to dry up a bit now.

We still have a pair of geese, fourteen guineafowl and Hatty the hen and a few more are still with us!

News update..Spring daffs! Looking forward to seeing the leaves on the trees… the buds are opening …

More news… Phil is busy building a roof on the School Bus! Yeah!

When we rushed back from Australia March 2021 we were living in the bus, having sold the show wagon to buy our live aboard boat over there. ( sadly now sold too… but we were able to buy the cider orchard next door…. Wooow)
Anyway the bus condensated and dripped from the ceiling so the added roof will insulate the bus, which is great. We also added a wood burning stove to it will be very cozy.

Making plans
We now have a Glamp,camp and crochet discussion group set up on messenger. Do let me know if you would like to be added to this group.
You can ask questions,make suggestions and find out more about these plans.

So far we have taken no bookings for 2022 because we are going to focus more on those who want to craft. The interest here is great . We can tailor the retreats, holidays etc around those who are interested and to what visitors want. we can add ideas here on likely dates, numbers and possible retreats, events etc
This is really exciting as it is something I have always wanted to do.
