The U.K's biggest Soap-box derby is returning to Shrewsbury Quarry on Sunday 26th May 2024 to celebrate our 5 year anniversary. Come and join thousands of spectators from across Shropshire and beyond to cheer on our KRAZY, WACKY and outrageous soapbox downhill racers. Races will be launching themselves down hill in their carefully hand-crafted karts our racers will tackle our track with chicanes, obstacles, water and more.

🔔THE BOMBER IS BACK!🔔
We’re delighted to announce that Shrewsbury will be hosting a flyover from a Lancaster Bomber! 🥳
The flyover, from the historic World War Two Lancaster Bomber, will be part of the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Flyover - a series of events taking place with May and September. Competition is very tough with the majority of flyovers being over massive, well established airshows, so we’re thrilled to be able to bring this to Shrewsbury for you all!
If you were lucky enough to witness it at Stockport last year, you’ll know what an incredible spectacle it is! ✈️
