What a fantastic weekend at the University Nationals in Rugby! 🏇✨

We were proud to take teams from Harper Adams Polo Club, University of Manchester Polo Club and Keele University Equestrian Club and it was brilliant to see such a high standard of polo across all three days.

A special mention to the Harper and Manchester players who stepped up to compete in the higher divisions. The pace and quality of polo on display made for some incredibly exciting matches! 🔥

For Keele, this was their first-ever Summer Nationals, and the girls did themselves proud, winning 3 out of 4 games and showing just how much talent the team has 💪👏

🏆 All Harper teams finished in the Top 5 of their division 🥇🥈🥉 and 5 out of 6 teams secured a podium place!

A huge congratulations to all the players for their hard work, determination and sportsmanship throughout the weekend, and of course to the wonderful ponies who were absolute superstars 🌟

🏆 Uni Winter Nationals 2026 🏆

What a brilliant time we had at this year’s Uni Nationals. Some excellent polo over the 4 days. The more cautious players by the end of the tournament were absolutely flying. I’m SO proud of all the beginners- we’ve never had such great results; the practice with inter-uni friendlies and chukka nights really showed. A big well done to our Upper Beginner team from Harper who won their division after a nail-biting final match 🥇 and our combined novice team who took home the trophy too after some exciting games!
Big thanks to Harper Adams Polo Club University of Manchester Polo Club and Keele University Equestrian Club - we really do have the best bunch of students, and all the coffees, home-made treats, and the beautiful flowers, fizz & chocolates are so appreciated 🫶
Huge gratitude to our super-groom team of Em, Trace and Liz who never stopped all weekend and made sure ponies were happy, ready on time (usually.. 🤷‍♀️🤣) and never ran out of apples..! And of course the biggest thanks as always to our team of wonderful school ponies- we love you all, and despite some questionable, frolicky behaviour at the inter-unis (🤣🙈), at the Nationals they didn’t let me down, and were hoof perfect as usual 🫶
