River Activity Leader (Canoe Hire at Attingham Park)

We are looking for someone reliable and competent to help run our busy canoe hire operation at Attingham Park.

The role:

- Working on a sheltered river environment
- Meeting and briefing customers including families and groups
- Helping people in and out of canoes
- Checking and issuing equipment
- Safety oversight on the water
- Basic rescue response if required
- Keeping the site running smoothly during sessions

You will be working independently once trained, so we need someone confident, responsible, and able to think on their feet.

Essential requirements:
- Paddle UK (BCAB/UKCC) Paddlesport Instructor (or equivalent qualification)
- Current First Aid qualification
- Confident handling groups independently after training
- Comfortable performing basic rescues in sheltered water
- Reliable, organised, and calm under pressure

Desirable:
-Experience with school groups or outdoor centres
-Experience driving a trailer
-Additional paddlesport qualifications

Hours:
- Seasonal (April–September)
- Weekends and school holidays
- Flexible shifts

Location:
Attingham Park, a scenic National Trust Estate.
