1.30pm - open to all session. Come and have a go. Just wear closed toe flat shoes of trainers. We provide bowls and one of our members will show you the ropes.

Bowls Buddies - 3.30pm - chance for younger players to have a go. We have special soft and lightweight bowlsbuddy bowls suited to younger people.

No open toed shoes allowed on the green at any time!

Just a reminder about the Blooms, Bowls and Buns event tomorrow in the park (10th July) 1.30-4pm - from the bowling club.

The weather forecast is exceptional, free tea, coffee and cake, taster sessions of bowls, plant sale and tours of the park to show you the improvements over the last few years.

Silsden Gardening Club, Friends Of Silsden Park and Silsden Crown Green Bowling Club all look forward to welcoming you.

How many bowls?! A shot from another green today. Trebles match at Keighley where Silsden were represented by 4 teams. If you’ve ever thought crown green bowling is boring… or just for older people, this event proved otherwise. Great players of all ages. With so many bowls and players on the green at the same time, anything could happen. We had two teams reach the semi-finals and final. Well done to all.

We are hosting a joint event and open afternoon with Silsden Gardening Club and Friends Of Silsden Park
Starting at 1.30pm - Blooms, bowls and buns.
Tours of the park. Bowls sessions. Tea and cake.
No charge. Bowlsbuddies for younger beginner players from 3.30pm.
We ask only that you wear flat closed toe shoes if having a go at bowls and if you’re able to make a small donation towards refreshments, that would be most gratefully received.
