Nothing can really explain just how amazing but tough Equinox 24 was! 💙🏃♀️🏃♂️
We were absolutely blessed with amazing weather, which made the whole experience even more special.
Team Hearn Jimmy and Emma Jean went solo and absolutely smashed it! Emma Jean completed an incredible 7 laps, while Jimmy powered through 5 laps. What an achievement! 👏🔥
Then we had Team Cool Runnings, which included Mark Collingwood. They were a smaller team but thoroughly enjoyed the event, and it was brilliant seeing them out on the course and running past the Skegness & District Running Club gazebo. 💙
And then came our fabulous Skegness Sizzlers six amazing ladies who managed an incredible 19 laps between them! 👏👏
A special mention must go to Alex South, who completed 3 laps back to back, and Jo, who took one for the team by squeezing in a lap before midday. What an incredible effort from both of them! 👏🔥
We certainly know how to make an entrance too! Friday night saw them taking part in the famous Beer Run, all dressed as birds. 🐦😂 They might not have quite flown around the route, but they certainly gave it their all and then danced the night away before getting down to business for the main event!
Then it was time for 24 hours on that challenging 10K course.
There wasn't much sleep for anyone, that's for sure! 😴😂 But there were plenty of laughs, incredible effort, amazing support and, most importantly, so many memories made.
Every lap, every cheer, every tired face and every little bit of determination made it a weekend to remember.
A huge well done to everyone who took part. You should all be incredibly proud of yourselves. ❤️
