Coach george trainer of the week - Brook! (right) Brook has been out with a foot injury the past 3 weeks & returned back to training tonight with a burning desire to play football. Great passing play and strength in the drills & commanded his team brilliantly in the match at the end like a true leader! Hes missed playing football with his team mates & tonight shown that in his body language! Excellent work brook! 👍⚽️👏

Coach darren trainer of the week - Paddy! A fantastic effort from Paddy this week. Showed exactly what a team player is all about and gave everything in his drills. He always listens to coaches and tries his best in everything given to him. Well done Paddy 💪👍⚽️

A game of 2 halves! 1st half we matched them with everything & was a good performance. Going into half time at 1-1, when we should of been 3, 4 up with the amount of chances we had. 2nd half we basically stopped & rainhill spartak switched on. Alot to improve on going forward & start playing as a team if we want to win more games. But cant fault them in the 1st half, being strong & playing good football!

Coach George man of the match - Isaac! Played brilliantly, mostly at the back. Being strong & putting in a great performance. He was here, there & everywhere all game, fighting for his team. He also made a brilliant assist for George in the 1st half. Well done bud, keep up the good work 👏 👍⚽️

Coach darren man of the match - Jaxon! Once again, a much improved performance from Jaxon in goal this match. Despite conceding 4 quick goals, he made many great saves and demanded his area on many occasions by coming out to collect the ball. His training and hard work is definitely showing on the pitch. Well done Jax 👍👌⚽️

Coach George trainer of the week - George! More intensity & hard working from him tonight! From doing 1 to 1 training, straight into our team training session, showing he can put the hard work in! Continuing his momentum from last sundays game & building more confidence to his game! Starting the training session greeting his team mates as they arrived with high fives & ending the training session the same way shows how much this team means to him! 👍⚽️👏

Coach darren trainer of the week - JAXON - Such an outstanding training session from Jax this week! We're seeing such an improvment in his listening and goalkeeping work. Took control in goal with our attack vs defence match at the end and understood his duties during one to ones with Assistant Dan. Keep up this great work Jax, well done 👍💪⚽️

A brilliant start to the new league season! The kids all battled hard, got stuck in & put on a spectacle. Honestly could of been alot more today, but need to work more on positioning & passing when it matters. The decision making more importantly. But take nothing away from us, as we had control of the game from the 1st whistle to the last! We take this confidence now into the next league game! Well done team 👏⚽️

Parents man of the match - jaxon & tom! It was a tie decision from the parents today. Tom doing brilliant down the wing taking on players, bagging a hat trick today! And Jaxon who made some outstanding saves keeping their score tally down. An excellent shot stopper!

Coach george man of the match - Theo! Played his socks off from start to finish today with a brilliant attitude, playing in different positions throughout. Listened & took everything in with the instructions that were given to him on the sidelines. Got himself 2 goals today aswell! Excellent performance! ⚽️👏💪

Coach darren man of the match - George! A fantastic performance from George today after recovering from being ill. Never stopped running and many times being brave on that wing taking on his opponent and getting that cross in to assist his team mates. Scored 2 belting goals himself! Keep it up George. Well done 💪✨️⚽️

Coach george trainer of the week - Rory! Understood the drills well & was the 1st to answer everything. Very encouraging to his team mates & his coach, even stating "Good speech coach" at the end of training. Only been at the club a few weeks & settled in well. With good feet, good passer of the ball & what it means to be a team player, Rory will go far for this team! Well done 👍👏⚽️

Coach darren trainer of the week - Isaac! Showed great composure in tonights training and heavy fitness drills, especially at the end. Understood what is required to be applied to his matches for the team and always wants to play and improve. Keep up the hard work and dedication Isaac, well done 👍💪⚽️

Town green athletic 3

A game they didnt deserve to lose today! Having 4 players out injured or sick & playing the whole game with no subs! Playing against a good town green team, we gave it our all the entire game & gave them a hard game. We didn't let them take control of us & matched them with everything! The only difference was they took their chances. We had our chances ourselves but town green had a really good keeper that kept us out! I gave them all man of the match medals, as every one of them deserved it today! They put in a shift, great performance & never gave up til the final whistle! Good times ahead for this team, its just gonna take time & more performances like this today, the results will follow! BRILLIANT TODAY SKEM YOUTH U9S ⚽️❤️😁

parents man of the match trophy went to louie today, as he played his final match for us! A brilliant performance from him today & a really nice gesture that the parents voted for him. Its sad to see him leave, as hes been with us since day 1 & been a great asset to the team! We wish him all the best in his next football chapter! 👍🙏⚽️👏

Coach george trainer of the week - Paddy! Excellent in the drills tonight, putting in more effort & energy. Hes shown a really desire over the last few weeks since signing with skem youth! Been a great addition to the team & a real team player. Keep up the good work 👍⚽️👏

(Assistant coach Dan) trainer of the week - Jaxon! He’s worked hard, listened to what we’ve asked of him and shown a real desire to improve his game. Altho he felt down & out at sundays game, he still turned up to training with a positive attitude, leaving sundays game in the past, feeling good about himself & looking forward to the next game. This kid does not give up! Brilliant effort, Jaxon — well deserved! ⚽👏

Leveller game

Skem youth 2
Burscough milan 6

Always an interesting, tense game when we come up against burscough milan & today was no different. Alot of fouls & unsettled moments throughout the game. More decisions went their way & we should of had a stonewall penalty which I couldnt believe wasn't given. Take nothing away from burscough milan on the way they played and deserved the win. We were all over the place today and could of had more goals, but it was that final third that let us down today. Good play at times & battled hard. Alot of work to do in training!

Coach george man of the match - isaac! Issac already playing a game earlier, played his heart out today & should of had a penalty which he got injured from. That didnt stop him, as he forced himself to carry on 5 minutes later & was a warrior at the back & never gave up until that final whistle! 👍👏⚽️

Tom - Great Team sport performance from Tom today. Offered himself forward to go in goal after an issue with our number one. Dug in and never gave up. Kept his head up at all times. Well played 👍⚽️👏

Parents man of the match - luca! 2 times luca has earned this award in 3 weeks & well deserved, catching the eyes of the parents. Hes started off brilliantly within the team & bagged himself another goal today! 👍👏⚽️
