WEEKLY ROUND OFF
Week 3 out of 17 building up to Manchester hyrox. Stats for this week:
- Total KMโs - 33km (2 easy runs, 1 interval session)
- 3 strength sessions (1x lower, 1x upper, 1x full body)
- 2 erg sessions
- 2 sessions on the turbo trainer watching Star Wars
Felt a tough week in terms of training. Running wise, started off hard work at the front end of the week but managed to pull together some decent sessions. Strength sessions wise - was a case of just trying to pull myself through but we got there in the end. Dug up the turbo training out the garage and been a very nice change of pace for some easier work.
Outside of training and work, been a nice steady week. Canโt complain ๐โโ๏ธ
Always plenty to be learnt but weโre still moving forward. We go againnnn ๐

- Total KMโs - 31km (3 easy runs, 1 threshold session)
- 2 strength sessions (full body x 2)
- 1 erg session
- 1 Alton towers speed run
Bit of a busier week this week so time was a bit stretched, made sure getting the runs in stayed a priority and crammed some strength and erg stuff in where I could. Running started to feel a bit smoother. Moving forwardddd ๐
Outside of training - cut about Alton Towers and wondered the streets of Cambridge. Lovely stuff

WEEKLY ROUND OFF -
Week 1 out of 17 boxed off building up to my redemption in the Mannehhh hyrox open. Stats for this week:
- Total KMโs - 31km (2 easy runs, 1 threshold session)
- 3 strength sessions (lower x 1, full body x 2)
- 2 erg session
- 1 padel game lost :(
Body felt absolutely ruined at start of the week, could barely string a easy run together. Cruising today. Moving forward ๐โโ๏ธ
Opted to go watch a Preston game instead of United. Standard plastic United fan ๐น

Quality day!! Bit on the soggy side but was for a brilliant cause and an unbelievable atmosphere.
First official half marathon time to get after. Looking forward to see what can shaved off in the next few months ๐จ

Todayโs partnered hyrox session ๐๐ป
- 10 minuet Ski Erg thresholds work - aiming to hold 1:50/500m pace, every time pace drops below threshold, perform 10 burpees
3 rounds:
- 50m 20kg Walking lunges
- Row cals (Switch when partner finishes lunges)
- 600m 24kg farmers carry (Switch with partner every 50m)
- 15 push ups - perform after every farmers carry
Next Hyrox booked for October - Pro Doubles, should be interesting with the weight increase ๐
Lot of work to be done, plenty of focus on running next couple of months ๐จ

*Progression* This is just evidence of real graft, hard work and consistency (+ a lot of complaining). Sheโs been putting in the work minimum 3 days a week, week in week out. Prime example of what pairing the right attitude and willingness to apply herself with the right coaching and appropriate programming can achieve.

After a while of training, Iโm buzzing to finally be qualified as a level 3 personal trainer!
