Having completed this event last weekend I would highly recommend checking it out for next season, it's a 10k event that's well organised, lovely location, excellent water quality 😀👍🏊♀️

Sighting was clearly affected today 😄, good practice though , 1st pic Monday - slight breeze, super flat, 2nd pic today - stronger wind, small waves, lots to work on 🙂👍

I was really missing my swimming during this lockdown period 🏊♀️ so my husband and I decided to adapt the humble paddling pool with a swim tether that now allows me to at least work on my technique, head position, body position and rotation, whilst giving me a form of cardio workout (it's actually quite hard 😁), hope everyone is staying safe

My 1st outing of actual wild swimming, our Christmas trip to visit family included a dip in a local beauty spot, air temp 4°, water temp 7.8°, still dark when we arrived at 0830 but very beautiful. I was welcomed by some lovely locals and as always my super hubby was there to share the great experience and take the pics 😁🏊♀️❄

Chilly, misty start to the day, week 4 of my winter swimming and I'm slowly aclimatising 😀. Water temp 8.3 degrees, feeling great now I'm warm and dry 🏊♀️😁👍
