Ducks' two in a row. Quack! Quack!

Richard 'Duck' Hargreaves completed a 2024 Skipton Craven double on Sunday 13th October by lifting the £100 first prize to add to his win in March.

In a 'nip and tuck' final Richard just had the better of Ruffords Ryan Benson. Richard looked to be romping it at 12-6 and 14-9, but eight singles in the next nine ends saw Ryan edge in front 17-15. Ryan let it slip with a bad 24th end and Richard got into his favourite corner to run out 21-17.

Ryan collected £60 for his efforts nontheless.

In the semi-finals Ryan had the better of David Poole 21-18, while Richard overcame Ian Bernard 21-11, the losers each picking up £40.

The losing quarter finalists, whose combined age is in excess of 250 years were Ken Lee, Steve Griffiths, Chris Hight and John Benson each receiving £20.
