Last weeks Groundwork Greater Manchester The King's Trust Team ASH24 were quite possibly the quietest team I've ever met on the first day but by Thursday they were a strong team with capable leaders and everyone having improved in some way. They also had the most consistent attendance during the week for a long time. A pleasure to work with.

Final day for Team R171 at . Some weeks in this job are special and when you see a group change into a team and progress throughout the week it makes the job worthwhile.

A motivated Team R171 today, with a big mission day at Hobson Moor Quarry. Orienteering and successfully solving a large puzzle got then the safety kit to complete an abseil. Lots of happy abseilers who originally thought they couldn't do it but completed it through perseverance and help from the team.

Strong start to the week with and Team R171. Monday began quietly, but the group quickly found their stride with problem-solving and team-building challenges. Tuesday took us caving at Giant’s Hole — and on a bitterly cold day, it was much more pleasant underground. There were plenty of nerves at the start, but everyone pushed through and came away smiling.

A good day at a busy Summit Up Climbing Centre with Groundwork Greater Manchester The King's Trust Team ASH21. Everyone climbed, everyone belayed and everyone did more than they thought they could do. A really enjoyable day with a good team.

Caving today in Giant's Hole with Groundwork Greater Manchester The King's Trust Team ASH 21. We had a split group today, some were keen for the drop into Garlands Pot, down to Chert Hall and then back along the high level traverse, others wanted to do a more leisurely trip. A warmer day today, mostly because we'll be indoors at Summit Up Climbing Centre

Glorious weather today at Hobson Moor Quarry for Groundwork Greater Manchester The King's Trust Team ASH 21, if a little chilly. They got stuck in to everything, with high participation, good teamwork and two good leaders. Caving tomorrow.
A good start to the week for Groundwork Greater Manchester The King's Trust Team ASH 21. A day of problem solving and team building. Quite a quiet start from the team but they soon got into their stride and found their voice.
Tomorrow we'll be at Hobson Moor Quarry for some orienteering, problem solving and abseiling.
