Super proud of the boys today for winning the Lowlands Tournament today! They remained unbeaten throughout the day and managed to come out on top after a penalty shootout against Sleaford Town’s other U9’s team. Both teams played really well in the heat too. πŸ’šπŸ’š

Big thanks to our kit sponsors The Food Heroes.

Another great result today for the boys, getting the win against a strong Saxilby side by the odd goal. They are playing and working extremely hard as team and never gave up after going a goal down. We stay unbeaten in our development league games this season and continue to improve every week.

Todays player of the match was Bailey who was strong but fair in the tackle and composed on the ball. Well played Bailey keep up the good work!

Our baller of the week is Noah who had been asked to cover a somewhat unfamiliar position for him. He tracked his runners and did his defensive duties superbly.

Big thanks to The Food Heroes our home kit sponsor.

With the boys game being cancelled this weekend, last weekend’s result being our final of 2022. What a brilliant start to the season from the young greens, scoring a fabulous 58 goals in the 12 games so far this season!

Last weekend the boys made it 7 unbeaten, with the goal scorers being Max and Taylor grabbing a goal each. Max has now hit the 20 goal landmark, congratulations young man! πŸ‘

Another cup fixture this weekend for the green army as we played local side Ruskington FC at home. Not at our best today but 7 goals and a clean sheet shows how far these boys have progressed.

The goal scorers today were Jacko (2) including a brilliant free kick, Mabo (2), Taylor, Bailey and for the first time this season AAAARRRTTTHHHURRRRR! πŸ’ͺ big shout out to Arthur for doing exactly what the coaches asked him to do at half time which resulted in him scoring a minute later. A special mention also to Lucas for keeping his sheet clean, some big saves πŸ‘

Man of the match this morning for a brilliant all round display was Bailey. Deserved his late goal for his performance not just in attack but defensively too.

That now completes our 1st stage in the cup, with 3 wins and 1 defeat. Scoring 30 goals and conceding 5. Next week we make the journey to Lincoln to face Birchwood FC.
