Nigel Pearce - Lincolnshire Matchplay Champion! 👏🎉

A big congratulations to our very own Nigel, who won the PGA in Lincolnshire Matchplay on Friday at Thonock Park. 🏆

Nigel booked his place in the final after beating Woodhall Spa's Lee Cardy 2&1, facing Kenwick Park's Ashton Turner in the final.

After taking a two shot lead after the front nine, Nigel was pegged back to all square after 12 holes, with two birdies on the 13th and 15th giving him a lead of two with three to play...

With Ashton bogeying the 16th, Nigel made par to win the match 3&2!

This is a great achievement for Nigel, congratulations from everyone at Sleaford Golf Club! ⛳️👏
