Our ladies held their annual Club Championships this weekend, with a competitive weekend all around! ⛳🏌️‍♀️

There were winners all around, with four different winners for the respective trophies! Well done to Gill Lamming who won the net trophy, with Gwen Campbell taking the runnner up spot.

Poppy Edgar came close to the best gross score, but that was taken by Ann Lyon, the 2026 ladies Club Championship! 🏆

We have some new faces at Sleaford Golf Club, with six baby Kestrels and eleven Blue T**s found in the boxes across our course. 🐦

Today the Ladies Section hosted Lincoln Golf Club A team in a league match. Our Ladies played superbly, wining 4-0! 🏌‍♀

​Wow. What an absolutely incredible weekend we had at Sleaford Golf Club for my Captain’s Weekend!
​First and foremost, a massive THANK YOU to everyone who turned up, took part, and supported the events. Your support, energy, and competitive spirit made it a weekend to remember—but more importantly, your immense generosity has helped raise vital funds for our chosen charity, the Royal British Legion . 🇬🇧❤️
​An event like this doesn't just happen, and we owe a huge debt of gratitude to the dedicated volunteers who gave up their valuable time to keep things running smoothly, as well as the phenomenal management, greenkeeping, and hospitality staff at Sleaford Golf Club who worked tirelessly to ensure the course and clubhouse were in pristine condition all weekend. 👏👏

​The raffle table was absolutely packed, and it is all thanks to the local businesses, golf clubs, and individuals who stepped up with some truly spectacular prizes.

​A special mention also goes out to our Director of Golf, Nigel Pearce, as well as Gwen Campbell and my mum, Gaye Clark , for their wonderful personal donations to the table!

Sunday saw the Ladies Section play a hard fought league match away to Stoke Rochford. Unfortunately the score went against them, losing 3-1.

Today saw the Ladies Exchange Day with Worksop. A great day with fantastic weather good company and the course was lovely. It was followed by good food and prize giving. A great day out and we hope the Worksop ladies enjoyed their day at Sleaford.

From competitors to officials, it was great to see so many people come down for what was a fantastic event, run so well by the Midland Golf Union.
