More photos from this great event. We enjoyed working with such a great team from Carre's Outreach, local primary schools leaders, loads of great kids, and of course our own junior black belts and adult black belt volunteers!

A huge thank you to everyone who took the time to nominate - this year we had nearly 400 nominations across nine categories! Your entries showcase the amazing people and projects helping Lincolnshire get active and stay healthy. ๐ช
Our independent panel of judges now have the tough job of choosing the three finalists and the winner for each category.

Another amazing SKMA tournament video from this yearโs event. Well done to all competitors. Itโs not about the medals or the trophies, itโs about turning up on the mat and being a better you than you were yesterday.

We are absolutely thrilled to have been nominated for the category of Positive Experiences for Children and Young People Award!
Of course, we do what we do because we love it, because of our amazing students, and their supportive families. Everyone can do martial arts - no barriers to entry or to what heights can be attained.
Itโs not always easy. All we ask is a good attitude, good etiquette and an eagerness to work hard. Changing lives through martial arts!

This week, for our spotlight on a nomination we're celebrating Sleaford Korean Martial Arts โ a club making a huge impact on young lives! ๐ฅ
Since starting in 2017 with just five students, the club has grown to over 50 members, offering inclusive, empowering sessions for children of all abilities. From wheelchair users to children with Autism and ADHD, every child is welcomed and supported to thrive.
Two of their young members recently earned their 1st Degree Black Belts โ proof of the clubโs life-changing approach. ๐
Beyond martial arts, the club builds confidence, discipline, and resilience. Through school outreach, community events, and even charity fundraisers like their annual Christmas Kickathon, theyโre helping young people grow stronger in every way.
An inspiring nominee for the Positive Experiences for Children & Young People Award! ๐ฅ

Well done to all our students who competed at the TMAG tournament last weekend. A huge medal haul of 11 golds, 13 silvers and 14 bronze medals from only 10 competitors.
Itโs much more than about the medals, itโs about having fun, learning the importance of hard work and perseverance, that itโs mainly a competition against yourself, the importance of recognising and then overcoming your nerves, building confidence and having the best time!
Iโm very proud of you all. Letโs keep moving forward one step at a time. Itโs not about the end destination, itโs all about how you navigate the journey that counts!

Well done Mildenhall Martial Arts!
Confidence is contagious!!
How was this already a week ago?
Our UK Championship was more than medalsโit was a celebration of courage, effort, and joy.
Events like these build more than skillโthey grow confidence, resilience, and pride.
And that boost? it stays with our students long after the podium.
Martial arts supports mental wellness by showing children what theyโre capable ofโespecially when they surprise themselves.
