Comp 2 done and dusted.
Not quite the day I was hoping for but definitely the day I needed, some very important lessons learnt about my load selection and not to make to big of a jump, and more importantly my arousal and anxiety.
I went into my second lift far too hyped up and anxious due to the amount of people and a very easy opener, messed up my process which led me to fail the attempt ( aswell as it being 37.5 kg more then me )
But onwards and upwards from here, very thankful to .w_coaching for being in my corner and just an overall good egg. Nice long off season before nats prep.
Thanks to for another great comp, and the spotters/loaders for keeping everyone safe. 💪💪💪
The truth is… strength sports are more mental than anything.
It’s you vs you — every single session
No shortcuts. No hacks.
Just consistency, patience… and a lot of hard days no one sees
So if you’re chasing strength — remember this:
It’s not about lifting the most… it’s about not quitting.
Strength isn’t given. It’s earned. 💪
Nobody tells beginners this:
You don’t need a perfect plan.
You don’t need to feel “ready.”
And you’re definitely not behind.
You’re just new.
Strength doesn’t come from doing everything…
it comes from doing the basics consistently — even when it feels simple, even when it feels slow.
Show up.
Lift.
Learn.
Repeat.
That’s how confidence is built. That’s how strength actually happens.
If you’re ready to start the right way — DM “START” and I’ll help you get going.
Most athletes don’t skip prehab because they don’t care — they skip it because it doesn’t feel like progress.
No big lifts. No hype. No ego.
But here’s the reality: the strongest athletes aren’t the ones who train hardest for a week… they’re the ones who can train consistently for years.
Prehab is what keeps you showing up when the weights get heavy.
It’s what protects your joints, cleans up weak links, and stops small issues turning into long layoffs.
You can ignore it now — or pay for it later.
Your choice.
If your workouts look busy but your numbers aren’t moving… that’s not bad luck—that’s bad focus.
More exercises won’t fix weak lifts.
They just spread your effort thin and rack up fatigue.
The lifters who actually progress?
They keep it simple, track it, and get stronger at the same few things over time.
Pick your weak points.
Choose a few accessories that actually address them.
Run them long enough to improve.
Less noise. More intent. Real progress.
