Today is a very momentous day at the Orchard Dance Academy as our principal Mrs Orchard shares a big announcement 🥲💜

Thank you SO much for the generous donations you kindly made at our summer show! 😄 We were delighted to be able to donate £338 to each of our two chosen charities: Parkinson’s UK and FND Hope. Members of our family live with Parkinson’s and Functional Neurological Disorder, so these charities are very close to our hearts 🧡🩵

Our Grade 4 students went en pointe on Saturday, which is always such an exciting and momentous day! 🤩 Big thanks to Dancers Boutique for fitting all their pointe shoes 🩰

💜🍂 Our Autumn Term has begun! 🍂💜 It was wonderful to see our Saturday students back at class today after the summer break 😄 We were very proud of how hard they all tried, especially our brand new age 3-4 little ones who have just joined the Orchard Dance Academy 😌🩰

🚨 Only 1 day to go until we’re back dancing! 🚨 We’re excited to see our Saturday students tomorrow for the first day of our Autumn Term 😄 We will be welcoming new faces, starting rehearsals for our Take The Stage performance, and our Grade 4’s will be going en pointe for the first time tomorrow too! 🩰 👏🏻

Did you know? 61 of our students from the upper half of our school will be performing at Take The Stage UK at the Wycombe Swan on November 17th! 🤩 Our dancers will be performing 4 different routines (some from our summer show, some brand new!), in an evening of dance and musical theatre, along with other schools from the local area 🎭 Make sure you’ve got your tickets 🎟️ to come and support our fabulous ODA dancers 👯‍♀️🩷 Less than 10 weeks to go!

🌟 STUDENT SUCCESS 🌟 We are incredibly proud of ODA alumni Eleanor who completed her training with us at the Orchard Dance Academy in July, and is now starting her professional dance and musical theatre training at the highly accredited Performers College 🤩 We are delighted to say that Eleanor was offered a place on the day of her audition! 👏🏻 She is our 5th student to train at Performers, so we have no doubt she is going to love the 3 years ahead. We can’t wait to follow Eleanor’s journey and we will always be cheering her on from the audience 🥹💜

🎉 WE DID IT! 🎉 5 days have passed since our show weekend and we are still on cloud 9! 🥲We are bursting with pride at what our amazing students achieved and the fantastic response we had from the audiences 👏🏻 Since January our amazing dancers have worked so hard to create ‘The Sky’s The Limit’ ✈️ and so it was such a joy to see them having the time of their lives performing onstage 🤩 Huge thanks once again to each and every person who made it happen 🙏🏻 Until next time…! 😅😆
