This week is Bring a Friend Week at KickFit!
If your child has a friend who has ever wanted to try martial arts, now is the perfect time to invite them along.
Your child won't just train beside their friend. They'll help welcome them, encourage them and show them what it's like to be part of the KickFit team.
It's a great confidence boost for both children.
Your friend will experience:
๐ฅ A fun beginner martial arts class
๐ Safe, professional instruction
โญ Confidence building activities
๐ A warm welcome from our instructors and students
For the best experience, we recommend bringing your friend to one of our Basic Classes, where they'll be training alongside other beginners.
Your child must attend the class with their friend.
If your preferred class isn't a Basic Class, don't worry. Your instructor will help you choose the best session.
Spaces are limited in each class, so please book before attending.
We can't wait to welcome some new faces and help your child share everything they've been learning at KickFit.
See you in class!

๐ฅ๐ Congratulations to all our KickFit students on earning your new belt rank! ๐๐ฅ
Every new belt represents something far more important than a new colour around your waist.
It represents the classes you attended when you didn't feel like training.
The techniques you practised until they became second nature.
The courage to keep going when things felt difficult.
Belts are not given. They are earned through consistency, effort and determination.
To all our students, we are incredibly proud of what you've achieved. To all our parents, thank you for supporting your child's journey every week. Your encouragement makes a real difference.
Now enjoy your achievement... then set your sights on the next goal.
A Black Belt is simply a White Belt who never gave up.
Well done everyone. Keep showing up. Keep training. Keep improving. ๐๐ดโซ

๐ฅ HOT WEATHER TRAINING UPDATE ๐ฅ
KickFit Students and Parents,
Itโs going to be a hot week across England, but training continues and all grading tests will take place as planned.
โ
Please wear your official KickFit T-shirt to class instead of your uniform top.
โ
Bring plenty of water.
โ
Our instructors will adjust class activities where needed to keep training safe and enjoyable for everyone.
โ
Regular water breaks will be included throughout classes.
Most importantly, remember that perseverance is built by doing things that require effort.
Anyone can train when conditions are perfect. Black Belts learn to stay focused, adapt and keep moving forward when things become challenging.
Stay committed to your goals. Stay disciplined. Stay strong.
See you on the mats this week.

CONFIDENCE
Confidence changes everything for a child.
You see it in the way they walk into school.
The way they speak.
The way they handle pressure and challenges.
Martial arts helps children build real confidence through achievement, not empty praise.
Each class teaches them:
โI can do hard things.โ
โI can improve.โ
โI donโt quit.โ
That confidence stays with them for life.
Your child is capable of more than you think.
Sometimes they just need the right environment to bring it out.

Then something bigger happens.
You notice:
โ Better focus at school
โ More confidence speaking to others
โ Less anxiety and frustration
โ Improved discipline at home
โ Positive friendships
โ More resilience when life gets tough
Martial arts gives children structure, challenge and encouragement in a world full of distractions.
At KickFit Martial Arts Schools, children do not just learn kicks and punches. They learn how to keep going when things feel difficult.
That lesson stays with them for life.

Motivation fades. discipline stays
Motivation comes and goes.
Discipline stays.
The students who succeed donโt rely on feeling like training.
They train anyway.
This is the habit that creates Black Belts.
Stay consistent.

Bruce Lee once said:
โLong-term consistency trumps short-term intensity.โ
That message sits at the heart of true martial arts training.
Anybody can train hard for a week.
Anybody can feel motivated for a month.
But very few people keep showing up year after year. Through school exams. Busy jobs. Family life. Injuries. Setbacks. Doubt. Pressure.
That is where Black Belt character is built.
At KickFit we speak often about the path to 4th Dan Mastery. Not because of the belt itself, but because of the years of discipline, focus and resilience it takes to get there.
Kyoshi Ken Pankiewicz was inspired to begin martial arts training at just 13 years old in 1983 after watching Bruce Lee movies. That inspiration became a lifelong journey that still continues today over 40 years later.
Bruce Leeโs legacy was never just about speed or power.
It was about daily practice. Self-improvement. Relentless consistency.
The students who succeed long term are not always the most talented.
They are the ones who refuse to quit.
Keep showing up.
Keep training.
Keep pushing forward.
That is the KickFit way.

This is bigger than martial arts
Martial arts is not just physical.
Itโs mental.
Learning to keep going when things feel tough.
This mindset helps in school, friendships and life.
Every class strengthens that.
Keep them training.
