Hi all
As we are always working to improve the club as a part of this we are upgrading our club decoder so we will be using an RC4 decoder to version 4.4 firmware so all your existing transponders should work (unless it's a really old MRT with the old firmware).
We are currently offering the opportunity to upgrade your transponder if you wish to do so.
We have a limited number of AMB RC4 transponders available at a discounted price of £70, these are normally £95.
Ping me a message or see me at race control if you are interested.
I'm also happy to trade in your old transponders if you wish to do so.

Driving Directions:
From jnct 5 of the M4 head towards Slough town centre along the A4 London road then turn left at the lights into Upton Court Road, then drive to the first roundabout, as you turn off the roundabout at Upton Court Park road into Kings Reach the postcode may direct you to the Slough rugby club, which is the small slip road on the right, please ignore this direction at this point you will see Ditton Park Academy directly in front of you, simply follow the road round the corner to the left and the entrance gate is on your right, the club is located in the sports hall which is at the far end of the car park.

Food
I will have some tea/coffee, soft drinks and crisps available but other than that there is no food available on site so please make your own arrangements. There Tesco express within 5 minutes drive and local delivery services available.

Toilets
Ladies and Gents Toilets available.

Charging Power
There is power supply all around the venue, however you will require your own extension lead, please make your own arrangements. You will require your own table and chairs.
Please be considerate with your pit space to allow for others to pit comfortably too.

Booking In & format:
Online booking via the link at the foot of this post. Please do pre-book where possible just to help the day run smoother.

2 rounds controlled 3minute practice.
4 rounds of qualifying ftq
3 legged finals for all.

NOTE: We run a RC3 timing system so 3 wire transponders will NOT work. Please ensure you have the correct transponders.

Booking in on the day closes at 08:45.

Please have your BRCA card ready when you book in.
If you are not pre-booked, there is no guarantee you will be placed in the corrected seeded heat and you also run the risk of no practice rounds.

Schedule
08:00 Site opens for setting up. The track is closed until controlled practice.

08:15 Booking in opens.
09:00 Drivers Briefing.
09:15 Practice starts for 2 rounds of 3 minutes.
ONLY AFTER YOU HAVE BOOKED IN
if you book in on the day you may not get a practice run due to numbers and time schedule, so please book in online just to make your day better and my day easier.

PLEASE Marshall after your practice heat.
10:00 Qualifying starts.

We will be limiting tyres to 2 sets for the day 1 new set qualifying and 1set for finals if you wish

As you are all aware we are looking to raise enough money to fund new carpet for our club ready for the next season starting in late August 2023.
We need approximately £4500 to do this.

An absolute abundance of thanks to Matt Cranie👌🏽
One of the many spinal disks in the backbone of our club.
Turned up today to help with the hoses trolley after it collapsed on us yesterday.
Not only did we get it fixed but hopefully fixed in a way it won't break again 🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽
