Some photos from what turned out to be a great weekends racing. Im still trying to find some decent pace from the car. Which I’ll be working on over the next few weeks in time for our National Championship at Hednesford Hills Raceway on the 22nd September. Well done Charlie on not 1 but 2 race wins! Not a bad nights racing last night all things considered. Finished all 3 races, best result being a 7th in the final. Loads more set up changes required but on a positive note it’s finally beginning to feel like a race car again!

Just a few photos from what turned out to be a pretty sh1tes weekends racing at Skegness Raceway - stadium for me. Car issues on both days kinda ruined a weekend I was really looking forward to! Onwards and upwards from this point and hopefully a bit better luck 🏁 Thanks to East Coast Stockcars and Jerry Cookson for the photos.

My season recap so far! Hednesford season opener, exhaust fell off in heat 1, finshied heat 2 but had a spin so was a lap down! Final, the car was good and I was hoping for a decent race, all going well until I managed to hit a patch of oil on the track, with other cars spinning on the same patch I had nowhere to go other than into another car!

Repaired the car for round 2 at Ipswich, managed 5 maybe 6 laps in heat 1 then the engine let go.

To say it’s not been the best of starts to a season is an understatement. New engine required! Hopefully I can source an engine and get it fitted before our next race, round 3 at Buxton 🏁

Seems like a long time since I’ve said this but it’s finally time to get racing again!

The car is looking fresh and she’s almost ready to go! A big change to the rules this year as we are going onto Hoosier racing tyres which will hopefully mean more grip and even closer racing 🏁🏁

2024 ready!

If you are at the NEC Autosport International show this weekend, come and take a look at my 2024 Oval Track Legends car along with Charlie Bull’s 2024 car! A big thank you to Highway Traffic Management for the continued support, the car looks fresh and I can’t wait to get going again 🏁🏁

Mixed day yesterday, found an issue with the car that I didn’t even know was an issue? Fixed that and I couldn’t believe the difference it made with handling of it! Managed a 4th in heat 1, then some unfortunate contact in heat 2 saw me facing the wrong way! Recovered to finish 8th then pretty much the same thing happened again in the final, this time recovered and finished 9th! Racing incidents aside it was a positive day. The car was really going well, I felt comfortable in it and I was on the pace. A bit more work needed on my race craft now then we should be hopefully there or there abouts!

Next up is Great Yarmouth on Sunday 1st October for the Oval Track Legends! One last visit to the seaside this season for us! Let’s hope the sun shines and we keep it pointing in the right direction this round! 🏁

Round 13 for the Oval Track Legends this weekend at Hednesford Hills Raceway! The car is ready, the race suit has been cleaned and we are ready to roll! I’ll be starting from the Blue grade this time around to which should be interesting 🥴!!

A great days racing yesterday in front of a huge crowd at Foxhall Stadium in Ipswich. Some really good enjoyable battles in front of a big crowd makes all the hard work worth it. The Highway Traffic Management car looks mint in the sun don’t you think!

Next up is Hednesford on the 17th September.
