Great day out for the Lancashire ladies on Saturday at the Inter County 9s tournament! 👏 The ladies headed down the Leicester where they got started with their first match against Warwickshire but were unfortunately beat. This didn’t stop the ladies though as they came back stronger to win their next 2 matches against Hertfordshire and Gloucestershire, finishing 2nd in their group. This then put them into the cup final. With only 9 girls and it being a very warm day, the girls put in a great effort but were sadly beat in the final by a strong Warwickshire team. Nevertheless the girls did amazing having never played together as a team before and the day ended on a high with being awarded the Senior Player of the tournament!👏👏 Well done to all the girls and a big thanks to all involved and those who organised the great day!
