A Message of Support to Stourbridge Golf Club
Everyone at Ladbrook Park Golf Club was deeply saddened to hear of the devastating fire at Stourbridge Golf Club yesterday.
First and foremost, we sincerely hope that everyone at the club, as well as those living in neighbouring properties and the surrounding community, is safe and well.
A golf club is far more than its buildings. It is a community: a place where friendships are formed, memories are made and generations of members, staff and visitors come together through a shared love of the game. To see a fellow club affected this way is incredibly upsetting, and our thoughts are with everyone connected with Stourbridge Golf Club at what must be a very difficult time.
Through the Golf Club General Managers group, we have reached out as a club to offer our support and assistance in any way that may be helpful in the days and weeks ahead.
The strength of the golfing community is often most evident when one of its own faces adversity, and we know clubs and golfers across the region will join us in standing alongside Stourbridge.
On behalf of the members, staff and wider community at Ladbrook Park Golf Club, we send our very best wishes to everyone at Stourbridge Golf Club, their neighbours and the surrounding community. We wish the club strength in the days ahead and sincerely hope to see the Stourbridge golfing community back together again as soon as possible.
