ENTRY CONDITIONS:
Entrants handicap index must be active and fully developed. Entrants must be members of a Golf Club affiliated to their County Union.

ENTRY FEES:
Member Fee: £15.00 Per Person
Visitor Fee: £37.50 Per Person

Nature Talk and Walk - 02-Oct

Ladbrook Park Golf Club, Tanworth in Arden

We have arranged a presentation from Warwickshire Wildlife Trust to start at around 17:00 followed by an optional walk for those who are interested.
The event is open to visitors and members as well as local residents and children but sorry no dogs!
Dress code in the Clubhouse is smart casual but blue denim jeans are not permitted. We ask you to leave outdoor coats in the changing rooms and to bring a change of footwear.

LPGC SCRATCH TEAM - DIVISION 2 CHAMPIONS 🏆

Congratulations to the team on a magnificent performance this year in Division 2 of the Midlands Scratch League. A 7-1 home win last Wednesday, with two players making their debut and both winning their matches - a great effort from Rob Whitney and Warren Yorke helped to secure the result that sees LPGC promoted to Division 1, the top flight of the league. 🏆👏👏

SCRATCH TEAM UPDATE:

With the 6-2 home win secured earlier this week against Drayton, LPGC remain at the top of the table with one final home game to play on Wednesday 10th Sept vs Maxstoke Park.

The top 2 teams will be promoted in to Division 1 (The Prem!) and it looks like the team have done enough already to achieve this - One more home win should see LPGC head to Division 1 as champions. Come on LPGC 🔥

WLCGA Team Championships - Winners🏆

On 1st September, our team (Lady Captain Wendy Bill, Julia Chambers, Jean Badman, Gill Somerfield, and Sue Shortt) competed in the Warwickshire Inter Club Team Championships at Coventry Hearsall GC.

The course was in superb condition, with tricky pins, swirling winds, and showers making scoring tough – only one round under 80. Wendy and Julia played in the morning, with Jean, Gill, and Sue in the afternoon.

We were thrilled to win the Championship by 3 shots, lifting the Chipman Cup and also finishing 3rd nett, just one shot off the prize. A fantastic team effort and a great day. (PS Thanks to our brilliant caddies for their support) 👏
