Our final celebratory post is for
🏆Dancer of the Year 2025🏆
🏆ZOE🏆
Zoe has been unstoppable in 2025.
Looking back to age 3 Zoe, she has come such a long way. A shy little girl with tears most lessons due to not wanting to be parted from Mum, to the confident, chatty and wonderfully kind girl that she is today.
Zoe has always been a talented dancer, even from the very beginning those Ballet feet were exquisite😍 The last three years have seen Zoe really come alive, developing her style and using her new confidence to add dynamics in her performance.
Zoe has consistently scored Distinction across her four Ballet exams, but her versatility has produced further fantastic results this year.
Zoe now holds the joint top Grade score in the Dance School of 92 (Acro) AND is the solo top scorer in a Medal exam with 95 for Street🤩 achieving both of these results in 2025 is quite something!
Aside from exams, Zoe was an essential part of our team squad for competitions and has had great success in her first solo competition, achieving 2nd place🥈
Zoe spends most of her time dancing at home and it really shows in the progression she has made. Her technique is going from strength to strength, keeping up with the higher level of choreography that has been introduced now she’s in Senior School.
Above all, Zoe is a truly lovely person. Her care for others, supporting them both at dance and outside of dance is wonderful to see. A real heart of gold and beautiful soul.
Congratulations Zoe, you are so very deserving of this award. Keep believing and you will continue to achieve🥰

⭐️2025⭐️Dedication to Dance⭐️Jess⭐️
Jess is a dance teachers dream, completely committed in every single way. You can always count on Jess. She is at every session, remembers all the choreography not only for herself but other students parts & places too, and she always has a spare pair of tights or leotard to hand for whoever needs them!
Her improvement over the last few years has been remarkable, particularly in lyrical & contemporary dance, and whilst we would love to take credit for this, it is down to Jess’ own self motivation and desire to improve. She spends hours, stretching, practising, choreographing and researching new steps to master in her spare time, to then bring to class to teach everyone else.
Her dedication to dance continues outside of Allure to her school productions. Jess has taken part in every production that she possibly could during her time at senior school. Working with different choreographers has broadened Jess’ repertoire and performance skills, continuously building on her foundations to the all round dancer that she is today.
There will be a huge Jess shaped hole when she heads off to University in September, but until then we will continue to enjoy every step Jess dances, as with every step you can feel her passion from within.
Thank you Jess, for being a dream to work with🥰

⭐️Charlotte & Eleanor Surrey⭐️
Charlotte & Eleanor started 1-1 sessions with Miss Gemma in 2016, before she even started Allure. Their first exam was entered under ‘Gemma Scott School of Dance!’ and they will remain the only two students ever entered under this!
Without Charlotte, Eleanor, and their super mum Steph’s trust and support in Gemma from day one, Allure may never have existed.
Both girls have always been involved in all elements of performing arts with dance contributing to their triple threat skills, both excelling in Drama, and Charlotte involved with lots of singing. Through School Drama opportunities, they have both performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival!
From young girls of 9 & 10, both girls have continued their Ballet all the way up until leaving for University, with Charlotte even having some lessons when she’s been back in the holidays! They have worked incredibly hard over the years, sometimes keeping Gemma on her toes, but progressing and maturing into beautiful dancers who excel in their performance.
They have achieved all Graded exams from 1-5, Classical Award 1 and the demanding Intermediate Ballet exam.
Now 18 & 20, both girls are enjoying their University journeys and extra curricular activities with Charlotte involved with dance, drama & singing and Eleanor playing as much sport as possible to a high level!
We’ll be forever grateful to the Surrey family and very proud of Charlotte & Eleanor, Allure’s first students😍
