has trained with me a while. She’s one of the most dedicated clients I’ve had the pleasure of working with and these pictures show it.

The before photos are taken shortly after her 2nd baby boy Ryan 18 months ago.

Then covid.

She spent a lot of time cooped up indoors battling with her feelings towards her post pregnancy body. Not an easy thing at all.

Fast forward to very recently and I think you’ll agree her current photos are incredible. She weight trains regularly to change the shape of her body and does little to no cardio outside of walking. No long runs, no cross trainer.

Body Transformations should take time. Consistently working on yourself and your relationship to training and nutrition will leave you in an amazing position going forward.

Targets and the Trade off…

Covid Jake was having a great time. In a time tough for so many, I was fortunate enough to be eating and drinking my ever increasing Bodyweight and having a blast whilst doing it…until I reached a point where my body fat levels got slightly too high that my belly button was trying to escape my T-shirts.

Fast forward some amount of time, no one really knows how long, and my body fat levels are pretty low. It looks cool when I see it but it hasn’t been intentional or overly enjoyable.

This wasn’t a target of mine, neither was the lockdown weight increase. I was having more fun during the weight increase but there came a point where I didn’t like what I saw.

When setting targets around body fat/body image, try to have a real think about what the target is, why you want that as something to aim for, whether it’s reasonable and what the trade off will be… usually enjoyment with family and friends if done incorrectly.

Give me social drinks (ideally not tequila) and slightly higher body fat any day!

It’s the ideal amount of time to achieve real results when losing body fat, without becoming mentally exhausted.

8 weeks is realistic and manageable!!

I’ve created 8 week training programs, split into two 4 week phases that are PERFECT for any level of fitness!

Gyms are opening on the 12th April, rejoice!!

We’ve all had a long time away from training, which means our bodies will be unconditioned to lifting weight, technique will be worse and importantly, confidence will be lower.

All of the above are great reason to solicit the help of a wonderful, helpful, friendly Personal Trainer like myself...

But if you don’t want one a PT for whatever reason, you DEFINITELY should have a PLAN!

I’ve created 4 different 8 week plans. 8 weeks being the perfect phase to make progress before taking a rest.

One of these plans will be a perfect way of getting back into training, doing the correct exercises with the proper technique.

Wow!!

5 weeks of daily online classes, hard work, small dietary and lifestyle changes have paid off BIG TIME.

A HUGE WELL DONE to my client for this transformation!!

I’m really proud of these results. It’s a great position to get to where you can make a change over a short period and then maintain with a better, deeper knowledge of nutrition.
