What a fantastic day of wheelchair basketball on Sunday for both our Bears and Cubs teams! 💪🔥

U14s Results
📊 Cubs 16 - 9 Coventry Comets
📊 Cubs 10 - 12 Aces
📊 Cubs 10 - 14 Coventry Comets

While the results didn’t all go our way, the scoreboards only tell part of the story. Every player showed incredible determination, teamwork, and passion throughout the day, and the progress being made across the club is amazing to see.

A special congratulations to Isla, who played in her first tournament, and Ted, who also made his competitive debut, showing great ball handling, passing and teamwork throughout the day. 🏀👏

A huge well done to Bobby for scoring his first basket, Jack for his outstanding defence, Ruby-Rose for being a fantastic role model and mentor to our newer players, Corey for stepping up with confidence on both offence and defence, Alice for some excellent shooting and dribbling, and Chloe who had a brilliant day scoring from all around the key.

Moments like these show exactly what the Bears Family is all about—supporting each other, developing confidence, building friendships, and celebrating every achievement, big or small. 🐻❤️

A massive thank you to Ali and Tom for all their hard work behind the scenes organising, coaching and making these opportunities possible for our players.

Finally, thank you to all the parents, carers, grandparents, siblings, aunts, uncles and supporters who cheered on our players throughout the day. Your support means everything.
