As with so many things in life somewhere along the way, it started to feel like it had to be all or nothing. Then you miss a couple of classes and life gets busy. And before you know it, youâre telling yourself, â Iâll just start fresh next Monday.â
But, it doesnât have to be like that. Donât set yourself up for perfection, just because you missed a few days, a week, month or longer doesnât mean youâve failed. Your mat wonât begrudge you and we wonât judge you.
What matters is stepping back onto your mat and weâll be here when youâre ready.
Hands up đââïž Who needs more intensity?
Not many of us really, overwhelm seems a default setting these days.
Most of us are craving something softer right now. Which is why weâre super excited, this Saturday April will be holding special 3.5-hour somatic equinox journey at the Solihull Studio.
This is something very different to a normal class.
Somatic movement isnât about how it looks.
Itâs totally about how it feels.
Slow, intuitive, deeply personal movement that helps you reconnect with your bodyâŠ

and soften the places that feel stuck.
Across the afternoon, youâll be guided through:

Whoâs been there? âŹïž
The day you almost stumble onto your mat, body stiff as the tin man . Mind wanders off like a distracted puppy. You move like a sloth, the heat drains you. And yet it seems every one else flows with ease and grace.
What you might not realise is that practice counts, maybe even more so than the days youâre flowing on your mat like a river.
Patanjali says it plainly in the Yoga Sutras.
Practice (abhyÄsa) becomes firmly rooted when it is
âą carried on for a long time,
âą without interruption,
âą with devotion and earnestness.
He doesnât say âwhen it feels amazingâ or âwhen you nail every pose.â
He says long time. No breaks. With heart.
That includes the mornings you drag yourself to the studio out of sheer stubborn love for the practice. The days youâre tired, grieving, distracted, or just plain canât be arsed.
So however you arrive, arrive!

Thereâs a difference between attending and practising.
Attending fits in when itâs convenient.
Practising becomes part of your week.
The shift doesnât happen in one hot yoga class.
It happens when you come back a few days later. And then again the week after.
Most of our members practise hot yoga 2â3 times a week.
Not perfectly. Just consistently.
That consistency changes things.
At some point, something quiet happens.
You stop asking, âCan I make it this week?â
And start asking, âWhich days am I practising?â
Your body responds faster.
Your nervous system settles sooner.
Strength builds. Breath deepens.
The studio starts to feel familiar.
Thatâs the difference between attending and belonging.
