🚨 Roller Skate Lessons are BACK! 🛼🎉
Come and join us at South Molton Pannier Market every Monday for a fun evening on wheels!
🛼 Junior Lessons ⏰ 5:45pm – 7:00pm 💷 £5 per person
🛼 Adult Lessons ⏰ 7:00pm – 9:00pm 💷 £10 per person
Need to borrow skates? Please let us know in advance so we can make sure we have the right sizes available.
✨ Everybody is welcome! Whether you've never put on a pair of skates before or you're looking to build your confidence and improve your skills, we'd love to see you. All ages and all abilities are welcome!

🌧️🛼 CARNIVAL UPDATE – SADLY, WE’RE WIPING OUT! 🛼🌧️

Well… the weather has decided to throw a spanner in the wheels! 😂

Unfortunately, Skate Molton CIC won’t be able to take part in the Barnstaple Carnival procession after checking the predicted weather forecast.

As much as we LOVE a bit of British weather, rain + wheels + a busy procession = one seriously slippery situation! 🫣

We don’t want our skaters, scooter riders or skateboarders spending the procession practising their unplanned sliding skills — or, even worse, ending up needing first aid in the middle of the parade! 😬

Our priority has to be keeping everyone safe, so we’ve made the difficult decision to sit this one out. 💔

We’re gutted because we were really looking forward to bringing a big gang of wheels along and showing Barnstaple what Skate Molton is all about! 🛼🛴🛹

A HUGE thank you to everyone who was planning to join us. ❤️

🛼🛴🛹 SKATE MOLTON IS HEADING TO BARNSTAPLE CARNIVAL! 🎉🎊
Fancy joining us and being part of the Barnstaple Carnival procession on Saturday 19th September? 🌟
We'd love to have our Skate Molton Lessons and Community Night crew come along and skate, scoot, roll or simply walk with us! 🧡
You can join us on:
🛼 Roller skates – quads or inline
🛴 Scooters
🛹 Skateboards
🚶‍♀️ Or just come along and walk with us – absolutely no pressure to skate!
🧡 THEME: Anything ORANGE or anything SKATE-related! 🧡
Go as simple or as bonkers as you like! 😜
📍 Where: Taw Vale Road, Barnstaple (we are in Class 5).
⏰ From: 4pm
🏆 Judging: 4:30pm
🎉 Procession leaves: 6:00pm
You don't need to be there from 4pm if you don't want to hang around — just make sure you're with us and ready to go by 5:30pm.
⚠️ IMPORTANT SAFETY INFO:
🪖 Anyone under 18 must wear a helmet.
👨‍👩‍👧 Anyone under 16 must have an appropriate adult with them.

Wahey for Tuesday's!🤘
This week, for our community skate night at the South Molton Pannier Market, we have a whole evening packed with all sorts of stuff for everyone.
FREE to attend (donations welcome)🤘

Everyone's always welcome. Even if you are not a skater, there are tabletop games and different arts and crafts available. Including the South Molton Adventurers Guild, our D&D/Warhammer group. 🎲🎨

This week's special guests and extra activities are....

🧡Tech Deck table will be set up ready to practice those fingerboard skills🛹

🧡 Archie's Amazements with his fantastic selection of sweets and treats.🍬

🧡Free fruit and water refill station 🚰🍎

🔥 BASE by SAP is launching! 🔥

A brand-new Friday night youth provision for 11–18s in South Molton — but we’re not here to exclude anyone. Whether you need somewhere to go, want to meet new people, or just fancy somewhere to hang out with your mates, BASE is for you.

No forced activities.
No attendance targets.
No obligations.
Just a safe, welcoming space where you can be yourself and spend your Friday night your way. 🙌

🗓️ LAUNCH NIGHT – Friday 11th September
⏰ 7–9pm
📍 YMCA Building, South Molton

Our launch night is open to everyone in the community — come along, see what we’re about, meet the team, ask questions or simply have a look around.

🍬 Archie from AA Francise will also be joining us every Friday with his tuck shop, so refreshments will be available!
