Disappointing not to have a game tomorrow after last weeks win but it is what it is!

A cracking win & a solid team performance yesterday as we bounce back from our opening day defeat. It was a tight game with chances at both ends but the game was decided by a penalty mid way through the first half.

After last week’s opening day loss the lads will try to kick start their season tomorrow, but it’ll be tough as we are hosting the title favourites. They narrowly missed out to Ripley last season so they will be trying to go one better this season.

Not the start everyone had hoped for, we were slow out of the blocks & found ourselves 2-0 down very early. We fought back though playing some decent football & got it back to 2-2 but after a missed penalty & a red card we couldn’t hang on & we fell to defeat in the dying moments of the game!
