The pairs comp down for the 3rd Oct has been cancelled sorry.

We are still hoping to run the one in the 29th dec and have a few spaces left if you would like an entry.

The last teams on current football card sold this morning so we scratched the winning team off which was Aston Villa selected by Steve Angus. So stev your winnings are in an envelope behind the bar waiting for you well done.

We will start another football off if anyone would like a go as a member of staff.

It’s hump day

We start the day 10:30-12:30 with all rinks booked for the weekly groups social roll ups. Second session 12:30-2:30 again we have weekly bookings in for social roll ups leaving 1 free rink if anyone is after a dinner time roll up. 2:30-6:30 we currently only have 1 rink booked for a roll up so the perfect few hours for anyone wanting some quiet green time, or to introduce a family of friend to bowls. 6:30-8:30 the mens fours league is booked and we have our first national tie taking place in the mixed pairs when P. Hartley takes on J. Lawson.

We have lasagne on the menu today (as well as our normal menu) between 12-2 if anyone is wanting to pop in for some lunch.

The mens, ladies and senior club competition draws have now been done. All draws are online and up in the club for participants to view.

The novice singles draw will hopefully be done before the end of the day and up on the board.

Just a reminder closing date for club comps is this weekend. So if you haven’t already entered them get your names on or let stew know before Monday, the sheets will be down on Monday morning and draws made next week.
