An absolutely outstanding performance from Abi at centre-back yesterday! 👏⚽️

From the first whistle to the last, Abi was rock solid at the back, winning her duels, making some massive tackles at important moments and showing real composure whenever she was in possession.

What really stood out was her desire to drive the team forward at every opportunity. She defended brilliantly but was equally positive with the ball at her feet, stepping forward, breaking lines and helping us get on the front foot.

She simply never gave up. She battled for everything, covered her teammates and gave absolutely everything for the badge right until the final whistle. 💪💎

Abi is working incredibly hard in training alongside the rest of the girls, and that hard work is really starting to show on matchdays.

There’s a fresh, positive energy around this group right now. The girls are happy, enjoying their football, working hard for each other and constantly pushing one another to improve. That togetherness is becoming clearer every single week. ❤️🤍💙

WHAT. A. COMEBACK! 🔵🔴⚪️🔥

What a performance from these girls today! After finding ourselves 3–1 down, the response was absolutely brilliant, fighting back to come away with a 6–4 WIN! 👏⚽️

But more than the result, it was the team spirit and togetherness that made us proud. The work we’re putting in on the training pitch is really starting to show. These girls are learning every week, working for each other and, most importantly, constantly pushing each other in a positive way to improve. 💙

There’s a real togetherness growing within this group. Nobody gave up, nobody dropped their head, they kept encouraging each other, kept playing football and kept believing right until the end.

A fantastic comeback and another big step forward for this team. So proud of our lasses! ❤️💙

💎 FIRST WIN OF THE SEASON! 💎

Boldon Diamonds U15 4–3 Belmont U15 Robins

WHAT. A. GAME! 🔥⚽️

The girls pick up their first win of the season after an absolute thriller this morning!

We went into half-time 2–1 up, with Georgie Johnson and Annabell getting the 2 goals, before Belmont battled back in the second half.

Georgie got herself on the scoresheet again to make it 3-1 but Belmont battled back and it was 3-3 before the drama went right to the very end… Millie Deeley scoring the WINNER with virtually the last kick of the game! 🤯💎 4–3!

Some fantastic football played today and, more importantly, a brilliant team performance. We introduced four new players into the squad, and every one of them settled in superbly. Lots still to work on, but this was exactly the start this new group needed. ❤️💙

🏆 PLAYERS OF THE MATCH — Emily Nuttall & Millie Deeley

🪨 Emily was absolutely rock solid at the back — composed, strong in her challenges and a fantastic display defensively.

🪄 Millie was like a magician with the ball at her feet! Constantly making things happen with 2 assists and driving the team forward and then producing the big moment with that last-kick winner!

Fantastic effort from every single one of the girls today. The togetherness, work rate and determination were brilliant.

Just the start we needed. A new chapter for the Diamonds. 💎❤️💙
