Southampton City Ultimate

From this Wednesday onwards SCU will continue to train at Southampton Outdoor Sports Centre on Wednesdays from 7pm. All are welcome, comment or message for more info!

Tomorrow's session is at Wide Lane Sports Ground! Starting at 7pm!

Just for this week we are having to move to a different venue. As soon as we have the details for where we will be training for the rest of Summer I will update this page again!

Brighton Women have their Give It A Go session for female matching players this weekend. It is this Saturday so if you are interested then read on!

🥏 Brighton Ultimate GIAG
Saturday 20th May is our 'Give It A Go' (GIAG) session.

🥏 What
Brighton Women are hosting a GIAG to encourage more female matching players to play Ultimate Frisbee in Brighton & Hove. If you have played Ultimate before, great! If not, that’s what this session is for!
Please wear trainers or football boots. Bring water, plus a light and a dark t-shirt.
This is a free session, so it won’t cost you anything!

🥏 Session Structure
We will run a warm up, followed by some drills to introduce you to Ultimate Frisbee if you haven’t played before. We will play lots of small games with a game of 7v7 at the end.

🥏 When
Saturday 20th May, 10am-1pm at Preston Park (by the Cafe), Brighton.
We will be heading to the Park View pub to grab a drink and/or lunch after!

🥏 Who
We are advertising this across Brighton & Hove but anyone is welcome from any location. This is an open environment for any female matching player to join, whether you’ve played Ultimate before or not!

SCU are moving this week to Southampton Outdoor Sports Centre and sessions are starting slightly earlier at 7pm! We will be here for the next 4 weeks!

Just a notice to say that due to forecasted high winds we have had to cancel tomorrow's training session.

Next Wednesday is currently looking good so fingers crossed we can return to throwing discs about then!

We are now training indoors at Thornden School, Chandlers Ford. 7.30pm - 9.30pm almost every Wednesday and just £5 per person. All are welcome!

On July 30th SCU hosted Horsham Ultimate, Reading Ultimate, and BN1 for the first day of Southern Ultimate League games. It was a fantastic day of Frisbee and we are excited for day two coming on August 27th.

SCU are hosting the Southern Ultimate League on Saturday 30th July and Saturday 27th August. Two days, Eight teams, Open with a league based format. We currently have a few spots open so if you are a club or team and are interested in taking part then please get in touch for more details!
