Washed Up Events

We've had lots of questions and all good things come to an end and WashedUp will be hanging up it's towel.

Mike and I have had a great ride and really enjoyed meeting and helping so many people enjoy swimming in the Hamble. We have had nearly 1000 swim entries across many events. We've dealt with Covid restrictions, storms, strong tides, thunder, night swims, the hamble beard but alas no visit from Sammy the Seal.

Mike and I would like to thank everyone who helped us put on the events on the shore and on the water, the country park, Fairthorne, medics, our families for showing extreme patience and finally and most importantly, YOU the swimmers. We've loved seeing you push your boundaries, deal with your fears and bring nothing but smiles on the day.

We hope to still see you out in the water regularly enjoying nature but in the style of Strictly, Keep Swimming!

I know a bit delayed but... a massive thank you to everyone for last Saturday's event.
Swimmers and volunteers were equally smiley and enthusiastic and we loved hosting the event - a massive thank you to all !
Finally, a bit thank you to YMCA Fairthorne Manor for letting us finish the swim at such a stunning location!

Final arrangements are being made for Saturday's Half River Swim. We're looking forward to seeing you all and might even lead some sing songs on the coaches to the start!!!
