Leaking GRP roof renewed recently with torch on felt in Romsey town centre

New extension completed recently for a local builder

Recent garage roof renewal in Romsey. All old rotten chipboard was removed and replaced with 18mm OSB, then covered with 3 layers of torch-on felt.

An overlay of an old asphalt roof with alot of standing water. We installed new firrings to help the rain water fall to the rear of the roof, then fitted 18mm OSB making a gulley at the rear to channel the water to the outlet and covered the area with 3 layers of torch-on felt.

A recent failed GRP roof repaired. Once the green roof on top was removed to inspect the the GRP, there had been numerous patch repairs carried out previously. Due to the poor weather this was completed in stages, cleaning back and prepping the GRP and covering with 2 layers of torch-on felt.

Something a bit different from this week. A tree has been taken down at the rear of the garage block and unfortunately a branch had been dropped on the roof causing damage to the roof sheets and joists. We removed all the old asbestos sheeting, replaced any damaged joists and replaced the roof with new box profile sheets.

Recent garage completed in Romsey. We replaced the joining garage a couple of years ago and after being very happy with the work, the neighbour kept our details for when theirs required replacement.

A little integral garage / porch completed recently.
