BUKC CHAMPIONS 2026

A team did it! After a tense day and an unbelievable clutch race from Will the team won the championship on 2nd place count-back.

Gutting finish for C team, 3 points down on a Clubman championship podium. Amazing drives from Patrick^2 and a returning Cluley kept the dream alive but too many mistakes throughout the season meant the gap was too big.

B team had a solid final round with Shum bringing it home with a respectable final race. The team hopes to keep the fresh talent coming through for the future.

What a season overall, so much fun and we look to come back even stronger. See you all next year!

BUKC Champions 🏆

Southampton are your 2025/26 BUKC Premier Champions

Coming down to the final round at Silverstone, the A-Team of Josh Adams, Rylan Echberg, Sam Heathcote, and Will Taylor brought home the championship for the first time in the Universities history

It’s been a remarkable year for the team, taking three round wins in addition to five race wins across the season.

The championship came down to the wire against and we managed to come out on top against the former champions

The season was also highlighted by incredible drives and results from our B & C-Teams in addition to outstanding achievements from some of our drivers at the Drivers Championship at Silverstone, further results posts to come 👀

See you all next season where we’ll be aiming to defend the #1 plate ☝️

BUKC 2026 FINAL ROUND

Here it is, after rounds all over the country, we reach the showdown. A team looking for that illusive championship. After a round of mixed results the team is coming out firing at the home of motorsport.

Alongside A team, C team are looking for a clubman championship podium to match. With a few points deficit to the competition, some strong results are needed to get the team on the box.

B team says farewell to The Shum, #44 penalty, or whatever other name you know him by. After 5 years of a range of great to mid to impressively catastrophic results we’re all rooting for a top class comedy send off in Race 6 👀.

LLANDOW RESULTS

Mixed day overall in Llandow. A team struck with a few dud karts meant a poor morning round. It’s neck and neck with going into Silverstone. Bring it on.

C team had two good rounds, with a personal best finish from Debattista in P2. Afternoon performance could have been a lot better but some team orders meant P3 was the best that could be done.

B team had two amazing ineligible drives from Unc Dalton. However, highlight of the championship is team orders performed by Harry in the afternoon, putting his hand up on the grass to complain to the Marshalls, and instead torpedoing himself across the track. Not just that, he also managed to take out both the A and C team in the process, where both are looking at a class championship run.😂 Legendary BUKC moment right there.

See you all in Silverstone for the finale and of course the drivers championship, where we look to make up for the underwhelming results last year.

BUKC ROUNDS 5&6 HEAD TO CYMRU 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

The reason for the strong performance from A team in Newcastle has been narrowed down to the pre-race social night. They’re getting the drinks on order hoping that the form continues into this round.

C team has its first promotion with Liam stepping up in place of Ben. This is paired with Joel’s home race advantage (apparently), and a return of the Debattista hoping to secure the illusive Clubman podium.

B team features a TSM legend in chief Dalton returning ineligible as he still misses getting 20 places of pens for no reason. The Shum hopes the Llandow luck from 2022 turns around the recent form. Harry’s looking to mix it up in the mid-field and continue to carry the team.

WARDEN LAW DOMINATION

A team come away with overall wins in Round 3 & 4, with race wins in both morning and afternoon. They’re looking to carry the performance into Llandow coming soon.

Mixed outing for the C team, with Patrick L making his breakout drive, leading parts of the race. However, some mixed finishes by the rest of the team left some points on the table. Fingers crossed for more Heavyweight races as 3-1 split in both rounds hurt the team overall.

B team continue to have some bright spells with Harry taking his first top 10 result. The team look to improve on the back starts for the future races making a good battle between B and C overall.

BUKC ROUNDS 3&4

The road trip up north begins.

A team aims to carry on how they left Buckmore and get some more wins on the board.

C team is looking to make up for lost ground from a shocker of an afternoon at Buckmore.

With a surprising turn of pace in Round 2, B team want to carry the momentum forward at a track new to the whole roster.

Exciting start to the 2026 campaign !

The A team leave with the championship lead with great consistency throughout the day.

The C team saw Mark join the numerous ambulance visits, along with a few more very unlucky moments mean they still wait for a clubman podium!

B team with some very strong performances, narrowly beating the C team over the course of the day.

Warden law up next in a months time!

First race of 2026 !

A team takes the same roster that won qualifiers looking to carry the form into the new year. Praying for rain as always!

Bs and Cs are in for another confusing year, as C represents our second team looking for a strong Clubman finish.

C team’s starting off the season with a relatively experienced roster, but looking to rotate some new talent into BUKC.

A look back at TSM’s 2025 🏎️

2025 was filled with some true highs, we conquered Mount Snowdon the day before GYG, and less than a month later, Ben miraculously won a race at Drivers Champs ahead of a defeated Sam. 2025 has also seen our biggest year as a society with so many new and returning members, so thank you all for your support.

Unfortunately, in TSM tradition, it wasn’t all plain sailing. We would yet again finish P4 in the Premier Championship of the BUKC, a situation we’re all far too familiar with. Despite this, many wins and podiums were achieved across the season, including podiums at Buckmore & GYG for the A-Team and an incredible P2 at PFI for the B-Team, courtesy of Joel being uncharacteristically quick. Alongside all the wins and podiums, many crashes and stinkers were also had.

Away from the competitive side of things, Theo our President has done an amazing job organising plenty of events at both Teamsport and Thruxton, both of which have provided some hilarious on-track action. It’s also been amazing to see so many of you at our F1 watchalongs, so whether you’ve joined us for on or off-track action, thank you so much for being a part of TSM in 2025.

Here’s to an even better 2026, see you there.

We had a great evening with our guest speaker, Peter Hodgkinson. Listening to his stories and details about the inner workings of Formula One will stay long in the memory of all those who attended. Thanks very much, Peter!
