🌈 Fighting the Heat, One Rainbow at a Time! 🏌️‍♂️💦

It is absolutely scorching out there today! While you’re out trying to keep your cool (and your golf ball out of the bunkers), our greenskeeper crew is hard at work making sure the course stays lush, green, and hydrated.
Let's be honest—nobody wants to putt on a surface that looks and feels like a packet of dry Ryvita. 🏌️‍♀️❌
Without these sprinklers, your golf balls would be bouncing straight into the stratosphere, and our pristine greens would look a bit more like a desert wasteland. Plus, we're pretty sure watering the grass is the only way we get to see a beautiful rainbow on a completely cloudless day!
So if you get caught in a rogue mist on the turn today, just look at it as a complimentary, VIP cooling station.
Stay hydrated out there, wear your sunscreen, and we'll see you on the first tee! ☀️🧊

⛳️ The Chilworth Ladies: Wind, Rain, and No Pain!

Our fabulous Ladies section took on the Wellow Rally today, and let’s just say the weather was less "leisurely Sunday stroll" and more "extreme survivalist training."

We bravely battled through wind and rain that had us wondering if we should have traded our golf clubs for oars. While we didn’t exactly set the leaderboard on fire with winning scores, we definitely won the award for "Best Drowned Rats" with a lovely social day.

The highlights (mostly involving calories):

Arrival: Fuelled by life-saving bacon rolls, tea, and coffee.

The Round: A tactical display of seeing whose umbrella would turn inside out first.

The Reward: A well-deserved 2-course meal afterwards where we finally dried out and remembered how to use a fork instead of a 7-iron.

Great effort, ladies! Who needs a trophy when you’ve had a pudding? 🍰🏌️‍♀️
