We have exciting news for you all.
We are having our club open day again this year!!!! 🚆 So if your interested to find out what we are all about then please pop on down!
We welcome new members.
Our members will have there stock out on our club permanent layouts and will be N and 0 (operating or display) and Iv been told that the ladies of the club are backing cakes as well so cakes and refreshments are available to purchase on the day.

So save the date on your phone, calendar, postit note on your fridge, 🤗

Southampton model railway society

This weekend we are at Basingst**e with our oo layout bosun wharf if your there pop over and see us and say hello.

Track lifted on the Fawley branch.

Due to subsidence under the ballast it has been decided to lift all the track.

The good news is that it is going to be replaced with Peco bull head rail which is more prototypical on the time period in which the model is set

Big congratulations to the layouts that won this year under a independent panel.

Here we have Wantage who won our Malcolm snellgrove best scenic.

And three c***s junctions won best in show.

Congratulations to you both and what lovely layouts you have.

What a fantastic weekend it has been. We would like to thank everyone for attending and everyone that t**e part and to the Southampton & District Transport Heritage Trust for transporting everyone back and forth from the railway stations. With out you all we couldn't do what we do every year. So as our annual exhibition has now finished for 2026 we look forward to seeing you all again in 2027!
