A friends sister is staying in a hotel attached to Southampton hospital, as her son is very ill after having a couple operations on his brain after an infection and has just come out of a coma. She has been furloughed, but only on 8hrs a week.
I don’t live in Southampton, but trying my best to help as I live in South west.
Thank you so much for the food, her sister has said it’s really perked her up. Your all amazing

The Marine conservation Society visited the boat club today, as part of their survey of non native species.

They found Bay Barnacles (Amphibalanus improvisus) from North America, thought to have been brought over in the 1800s. And is the only barnacle that lives in estuaries.
And
Tube worms (Fincopomatus enigmaticus)which are originally found in the Southern Hemisphere but are now very common and thriving here.
