Boot Camp

- Who is it for?

We have a diverse membership, ranging from first time trainees all the way to elite athletes, so your age, gender or current fitness status is irrelevant!

All that matters is that you are driven to become a healthier, fitter version of yourself and want to surround yourself in an environment with like-minded people, all with a common goal!

- What will it involve?

Unlike a typical class and most boot camps, there will be a clear structure and progression from week to week.

During the first week you will have access to our InBody scanner to have your stats measured so you can assess your starting point. You will then re-measure at the end of the 6 week course to assess your progress.

If every aspect of the course is followed, you will be amazed at what you can achieve in this short time frame!

- Where & when will it be?

All sessions will take place in our 5000 sq.ft
facility at Hamble Point Marina, Southampton.

All we require is that each person is able to attend and dedicate just 3 hours a week (out of a possible 168 hours!) for the whole 6 week course.

The boot camp will start as soon as you sign up as an individual, with a partner or as a group, with the 3 weekly sessions being arranged as follows:

- Why Pinnacle?

The boot camp has been designed to focus on one thing - getting results. If you follow the system we have outlined, you'll see nothing but progress.

Our boot camp is a far cry from the popularised militant style approach and is completely void of the current 'night club' trend commercial gyms appear to be pushing, where there is more focus on strobe lighting, in-session DJ set and
performing exercise 'to the beat'.

Good evening everyone,

As some of you might be aware we are planning a charity golf day this summer. Aiming to do it in July, on a Friday at Boundary Lake.

The day will consist of bacon rolls and coffee before heading to the course to play a full 18. After the golf, we will attend a meal, give out prizes and do a raffle.

Member Spotlight: Ian Schenkel

Ian is just 5 months in since starting his health and fitness journey, losing an incredible 27 kg and he’s nowhere near finished yet!

Although Ian initially started on his own for a month making some great progress - he quickly understood that to make sustainable progress he would need some professional guidance.

That’s when Ian contacted Pinnacle Performance.

We created a progressive, structured program, training 3 x per week using our semi-private personal training option. Ian also opted for regular check-ins with our nutritionist @nbenutritioncoaching utilising her meal plan service.

On top of the above, Ian also added in extra physical activity outside of his 3 sessions to ensure he was active every day of the week ensuring he could still be social and flexible at the weekends.

The results speak volumes - Ian started out at 125 kg body weight and is currently weighing in at 98 kg (and still dropping)!

This goes to show - it doesn’t matter what point you start at; get active and stay active and the results will follow.

Superb work Ian, keep it going 👏🏼.

One of the key aspects of Pinnacle Performance is program design. Every member who subscribes to one of our membership options has a program designed specifically for their goals, physical traits and level of conditioning.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
One of the major worries and ultimately myths with some prospective members is the belief that our facility is designed exclusively for athletes and individuals boasting a high level of fitness.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
While it is true that we can proudly say that we have trained sportspersons who have made it to the “pinnacle” of their sport...😉, we also have many individuals who had previously never stepped foot in a gym, and worked with people dealing or overcoming health and rehabilitative issues.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Ultimately what we believe helps sets us apart from other trainers and coaches is that our sessions are;

- Not off the cuff
- Not simply the workout that we have performed ourselves that day
- 100% personalised in a semi-private training format and therefore not to be confused with group training.

Member Spotlight: Adie Gunn

Adie has been a long term member with us, initially joining back in 2015 in preparation for the 2015-16 ‘Clipper Round The World Race’.

Adie’s objective was to become more robust and develop his all round fitness to counter the physical stressors associated with what has been described as one of the “biggest challenges of the natural world”.

Adie made significant progress in a short period setting him up perfectly the feat his was about to endure.

After many months, 40,000 nautical miles, the race was finished. Adie’s crew for ‘LMAX Exchange’ even won the event overall out of 12 international’s crews altogether!

Fast track almost 7 years - Adie has been a member even since and still progressing despite approaching 57 years old!

Although Adie has been active most of his life, most notably playing football well into his 40’s - the gym wasn’t really a feature and approached us all those years ago with numerous niggles and ‘ailments’.

Through Adie making health & fitness a life-long investment; following a clear structure with week-in week-out consistency he has drastically reduced, reversed and prevented those ‘ailments’ and is showing no sign of slowing down.

An absolute legend - great work Adie, long may it continue!

Member Spotlight: James Dearden

Do you want to make a long term commitment to health and fitness without sacrificing things you enjoy?

Perhaps social events most weekends are just as important to your health and fitness goals?

James is living proof you don’t have to drastically change your lifestyle to make some serious progress!

With that said, James is fully aware that this isn’t the optimal approach and enjoying yourself most weekends can take its toll long term and the following week on energy and performance.

James has lost a whopping 13 kg of pure body fat, going from 90 kg to 77 kg!

Not only has he lost a significant amount of body fat, he has improved his fitness profile substantially, becoming stronger and fitter than ever before.

James is extremely consistent throughout the week, training most days and moinitoring his food / drink intake which enables him greater flexibility at the weekends.

As per usual - longer term mindset/commitment trumps the short term approach all day for lasting results and James will continue making very gradual lifestyle changes to continue progressing.

Great work James!

Who's thinking December might stop then from hitting their goals?

Well, it doesn't need to! You just need to understand what calories you are eating/drinking, and what calories you personally need for your goals.

Tracking can be a great thing to do if you don't want to put on any weight and you're not very good at intuitively deciding whether you have eaten more calories than you need.

Everyone is different - your body composition, your activity levels and your age/height all determine what calories you need to consume. Once you have an understanding of where you need to be (note - it is very rarely 1200 calories for women - so don't be fooled by that!), tracking your food and understanding what is in what you consume can be a game changer.

If you're unsure where your calories need to be why not book in for a consultation (in person or via video/phone) and we'll get you sorted 😄
