Unfortunately the Outdoor Sports Centre was broken into last night and amongst other things, our phones have been taken.

We will endeavour to get this sorted as soon as possible but ask that in the meantime you send us an email at [email protected] if you wish to get in contact. Our team will be checking emails at an increased frequency.

A heartfelt reminder that all of our Active Nation Venues will be closed on Monday 19th September, to give our staff and supporters the time to mourn and pay respects to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II whilst he is laid to rest. 🖤

Her Majesty The Queen passed away on Thursday ( September 8 ) at the age of 96 at her Scottish holiday home in Balmoral. She ruled for longer than any other Monarch in British history, becoming a much loved and respected figure across the globe. 🖤

Her funeral is due to take place on Monday September 19th. We will close all of our venues and we will not be responding to social media messages on this bank holiday of remembrance because we will join the nation to mourn the loss of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth ll.

In a statement, Stuart Martin, MD of Active Nation said: ''It is with extreme sorrow and deep respect that Active Nation marks the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth ll. Her Majesty understood the importance of patronage and charity for the health and well-being of the nation. As Active Nation is a well-being charity there can be no doubt that The Queen and HRH Prince Philip enjoyed the peace and privacy of many well-being walks in their gardens at Sandringham, Norfolk, Balmoral, Aberdeenshire and at Buckingham Palace.”

Following the news of the passing of Her Majesty The Queen, we will be closed on 08/09/2022. This decision has been made by Active Nation as a gesture of respect for Her Majesty The Queen and her family. It will also give our team time to pay their own, personal, private respects.

We will close on 08/09/2022 and will reopen on 09/09/2022.

We very much hope you join us in support of this action. For those who wish to work out on the day of closure, the Active Nation Anywhere app will still be in service.

Due to the weather forecast, the re-painting of the track lines is unable to go ahead this week. Therefore, we are now open from this very second!

However, this work will now need to be completed Monday-Friday next week, when we will unfortunately be having to close again.

Those with bookings within the next two weeks will be receiving an email and a call today.

Thank you for your support during this extended closure, we apologise for the inconvenience that we know this will have caused.

Exciting times are coming with the re-development of our wonderful Sports Centre and we’re kicking things off with some much needed repairs to our Athletics Track. This does however mean the track will be closed from the 8th of August for approximately 3 weeks. We’re sorry for the inconvenience but can’t wait to welcome you back to a new & improved track shortly

Unfortunately due to delays caused by periods of rain, the track repair is extending to a 4th week.

We hope that this will conclude this week, enabling us to reopen next week!

We’ve been working hard with Hampshire Constabulary and Southampton City Council City Services teams and the travellers have now vacated site.

We’re working with the City Services teams on the site clear up and will reopen tomorrow (Monday 18th).

Any remaining clear up requiring specialist support will conclude tomorrow morning.

David (Duty Manager) will be in touch with all bookings this afternoon to confirm they’re still going ahead from tomorrow.
