Burridge Cricket Club, Hampshire The 2023 Southern Premier League Champions and T20 Cup Champions. Burridge CC is part of the Burridge Social and Sports Club.

A beautiful club in the rural, boasting 5 adult men’s team, and a thriving youth section with teams in all age groups 🏏🌳 Since its formation in 1968, Burridge Cricket Club has gone from strength to strength and is now known as one of Hampshire's most respected Cricket Clubs, providing the finest facilities for men's, ladies', and colts' cricket. Following on from the success of our thriving Colts section from 2023 we will have 5 Saturday league teams. Our 1st XI competes in the Southern Premium Cricket League with the 2nd XI, 3rd XI, 4th XI, and 5th XI in the Hampshire Cricket Leagues. The Cricket Club has two grounds adjacent to each other on the banks of the River Hamble at Botley Road, Burridge. The main ground has been nurtured by hard-working long servants of the club and boasts a cricket square equivalent in size to the Ageas Bowl, the home of Hampshire County Cricket Club. Our newly formed 5th XI team will be playing at the Holt cricket ground, Upham near Bishops Waltham. The playing surface is one of the best in Southern England and is supported by excellent practice facilities including two fully refurbished full bay artificial lanes for the 2023 season as well as a number of dedicated grass wickets for net practice on the main square. The main ground also has an electronic scoreboard, which provides players and spectators with full-ongoing game information as it happens. New members are always welcome whether they be a player, spectators, coaches, or volunteers. Please come along to The Ridge and enjoy what we have to offer.

We say farewell again to our Australian overseas Toby after playing with our first team for the past 2 months. Opening the batting today and making a majestic 69 taking the 1st team into the T20 County Cup semis finals his final contribution. A wonderful person and fantastic cricketer. A credit to his parents Peter and Lucy. All at Burridge CC will miss him again as he returns to Oz tomorrow. Safe travels β€˜cobba’ come back and see us soon….πŸ’™πŸ‡¦πŸ‡ΊπŸπŸŒ³

We cordially invite all our Sponsors, Honorary Vice Presidents and Life Members plus their better halves past and present, to a special afternoon at the club on Saturday 15th August from 3pm. There will be complimentary w**e and food (cheeseboard/ploughmans) etc during the afternoon. A chance to catch up and socialize and talk about all things Burridge CC. The Burridge 2nd XI will be playing that afternoon in their continued attempts to get promoted. Currently top of the league.
