RDC classes give our students the chance to watch, listen, ask questions and understand how movement can be broken down and communicated clearly. It’s about developing the knowledge and confidence to walk into a studio and lead a class of your own.

Meet Eva 👋✨

After training in dance throughout her life and coming to RDC from a university background, Eva realised that performing wasn’t the path she wanted to follow. Instead, she found herself drawn back to teaching and rediscovering the ISTD syllabus.

For her first year at RDC, Eva wants to build her confidence as a teacher and learn how to adapt to the different ways children learn, creating classes where every student feels comfortable enough to try, grow and enjoy themselves.

And we think that’s a pretty lovely place to start! 🤍

There’s more than one way to be part of RDC. Join us in person for hands-on training alongside your tutors and fellow students, or learn online with live teaching that brings the studio to you.

Both routes are designed to give you expert guidance, real interaction and the support you need as you work towards becoming a confident dance teacher.

In the studio or joining us through the screen, you’re still very much part of the class. 🤍

The studio feels full again 🤍

After the summer break, Jess is very happy to have everyone back in the room, with plenty of familiar faces and lots of new ones joining us too.

Some of our students are travelling up to an hour and a half to train with RDC, and seeing those new friendships and connections already forming has been such a lovely way to start the term.

Teachers learning alongside teachers, swapping ideas and heading back to their own schools with something new to share. That’s exactly the kind of energy we love having in the studio. ✨

Stories like this are what it’s all about! ✨

After a professional ballet career in France, Sami returned to the UK to complete her DDE qualifications with RDC, achieving high passes in both Classical Ballet and Modern Theatre.

Now, after gaining experience teaching in local dance schools, she’s taken an incredibly exciting next step and bought a dance school of her own!

We absolutely love seeing where our students go after RDC, and we’re so proud to have played a part in Sami’s journey from professional dancer to qualified teacher and now dance school owner. 🤍
