As the world outside speeds up and everything starts to bloom, it’s easy to feel a little swept up in the pace. Slow down and join us for a 90-minute restorative reset to keep your inner energy balanced and clear.
This session is dedicated to Spring, specifically targeting the Liver and Gallbladder meridians. Think of it as a "spring clean" for your physical and emotional well-being.
The Experience
This is deep, slow-paced Yin Yoga. We aren't here to sweat; we are here to surrender. Using a supportive "nest" of bolsters, blocks, and blankets, we will:
• Open the Side Body: Releasing tension along the gallbladder channel to encourage flexibility and flow.
• Release the Hips: Clearing "stuck" energy in the liver meridian to reduce frustration and invite in patience.
• Deep Rest: We finish with a long, luxurious relaxation that will leave you ready for the best sleep of your week.

• Time: 18:30 – 20:00
• Where: West End Parish Hall, Chapel Road
• Wear: Your most comfy, cosy layers and socks.
• Bring: Your yoga mat and a bottle of water. (All other props provided!)

The middle of the week can feel like a mountain, but how you finish the week determines how you start the next one.
Feeling "stuck" or overwhelmed? In Traditional Chinese Medicine, May is the peak of Spring .. a time of intense growth. If you aren't pausing to reset, that growth can feel like burnout.

Sunday Sanctuary 🌟 Restorative and Yin Yoga

This month, we shift our focus to the Liver and Gallbladder meridians. Through deep, cooling Yin postures, we will gently target the inner and outer lines of the legs and the sides of the body. This practice is specifically designed to:
• Release Tension: Soften the physical "tightness" that often accumulates in the hips and side-body.
• Balance Emotions: Cool the heat of frustration and make space for kindness and clarity.
• Deep Support: As always, we will use bolsters, blocks, and blankets to ensure you can surrender completely into every shape.
What to Bring
To ensure you stay warm and comfortable while we hold these deep stretches, please bring:
• Cosy Layers: Thick socks, a warm jumper, and perhaps an extra blanket.
• Hydration: A bottle of water or a flask of herbal tea for after the session.
• A Mat: If you have your own, though props (bolsters/blocks/blankets) will be provided.
