Happy International Women’s Day from SQC!

We are making sure to celebrate all our FINTA players for Women in Sports Week! It really is our FINTA community who make Quadball the sport that it is, both by being the majority coordinaters, organisers and overseers of our teams and events, but also by making the community the wonderful, welcoming place that we pride it on being.

Additional fun fact about SQC: we’ve been run by FINTA presidents for more than half the time we’ve been around, almost 5+ years!

Looking for a sport where gender doesn’t change the kind of athlete you can be? Looking for a gender-inclusive, safe space for LGBTQ+ individuals in sports? Come along and join Quadball!

This Monday? Oh, nothing’s happening this Monday…

♣️♥️ POKER NIGHT ♥️♣️

Well, not actual poker. Join us at the Shooting Star at 7pm on Monday 9th to bet your unconventional currencies on different boardgames such as UNO, Connect 4, Knock-Out Monopoly, and some classic card games.

This is a hush-hush affair, so make sure to wear appropriate attire - dark sunglasses, a shifty look, and some long, black identity-hiding clothing.

What to bring:
1. Unconventional currency - paper clips, single thread-bare socks, the best-looking leaves, Hungarian forints, empty crisp packets, etc…
2. Something you’ve been looking to get rid of - there are raffle tickets to be won, and if you have something to donate, please do!
3. An air of illegality and shadiness😎

New year, new events from your favourite mixed-gender full-contact uni sports club!

A big welcome to 2026 and well done for all hard work on exams and assignments form the SQC team! We’ve got some fun new things coming up, including a whole new round of taster sessions and an appearance at Refreshers Fair!

Been wanting to try us out but haven’t had the chance? Didn’t get around to checking out clubs and societies in September? January blues got you down? This is your chance to come along and learn the basics, have some fun and mess around with our friendly team!

Join us on Monday 9th Feb for a fantastic new social - Poker Night. Hope you’re all channeling your inner mobster, because only the shadiest are permitted to this exclusive event… more details to follow!
