It gave me great pleasure yesterday to award Cathryn Oyemogum (Denney) her shodan black belt with 尚道館
Cathryn came to join us and study 1 year ago. Having previously gained her black belt some 20 or more years ago, after being fabulously taught by Sensei Garry Royal . I am so pleased that she took the decision to reignite her passion and start back on her journey again.

Hello, everyone.

I would just like to thank all of you for the surprise gifts to celebrate 20 years of our club in Totton. I was so happy 😊

It has gone by in a flash, and i am deeply grateful to all of you who have stuck by and given me just as much, if not more, than i have tried to give you. The success of our club is not due wholly to me, but to each of you who has been, and continue to be a part of this journey.

Karate is my passion, and I am continually pursuing improvement and study. And, I am on a mission to give each of you some of the teachings and insights that i have been blessed with through my teachers. I want more for all of you. You can achieve so much with dedication and humility, and i will be here to support, guide, and test your potential. So here is to our training for 2025 🍾🎉
