A busy April with plenty going on — and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

Fleming Park Bowling Club held their Open Day, which was very well attended — it was great to see so many people getting involved.

Parkside Bowling Club celebrated the grand opening of their new bowling surface, attended by the local mayor, council representatives, local charities, businesses, and sponsors — a fantastic show of community support.

Alongside various parties and events, we also welcomed the local Lions Club who held a PSA test day, which saw over 270 people attend — an incredible turnout for such an important cause.

We also took delivery of new, more modern function chairs — a great addition as we continue to improve our facilities.

February’s been another busy one.

A nice busy weekend in our function room 😊

We hosted a quiz night on Friday, followed by a 50th birthday celebration on Saturday — it was great to see the room and bar being enjoyed.

There's only a few days until our fantastic Inflate-a-fete !!!

With an incredible inflatable obstacle course from Inflateaplanet, an array of stalls to browse, delicious refreshments to try, and live demos to watch!!!

Entry to the fete is totally free, and it costs just £10 for unlimited access to the inflatables.

Tickets can be purchased on the day (cash only) or in advance from friendsofnightingale.co.uk

Gates open at 11am, and the fun continues until 4pm
