With the World Cup approaching, many people across our communities are looking forward to the tournament and will be hosting events, gatherings and celebrations. It is a great opportunity to bring people together and strengthen community spirit.

However, we also know that major sporting events can unfortunately coincide with an increase in domestic abuse reports. To help ensure that anyone affected knows where to find support, Hampshire County Council has launched a county‑wide awareness campaign for the duration of the World Cup.

We were absolutely delighted to see some of our juniors taking the first step into competition at the South and South West 8u/9u Tour event at Bishop's Waltham

To Hudson, Reuben and Saul - wow! so proud of you all and well done in all your matches.

A big congratulations to our juniors Ben and Luke who both came away with golds and a new Waterdrop water bottle.

Congratulations to Luke who won the G5 8u event hosted at Bishop's Waltham (10th May) and to Harry who won the G4 9u event at Portsmouth Grammar School yesterday.

Well done to both of you and keep up the hard work as it is certainly paying off.

Another amazing day of tennis defeating the top seed to take the win the in final!

Our experienced Strength and Conditioning Coach and Personal Trainer, Chris, offers tailored weekly junior sessions focused on balanced bodyweight exercises. Enrolling your player into our strength and conditioning program can significantly enhance their tennis abilities, reduce injury and ensure a healthy lifestyle.

Ideal for players from green ball level and above.

It was the Active Academy Play Your Way to Wimbledon Qualifying event this afternoon and what a beautiful day we had.

With boys and girls playing for the place in the County Finals it was all to play for.

Active Academy - CLUB JUNIORS ONLY

Active Academy Tennis are one of a select number of clubs hosting a Vodafone Play Your Way to Wimbledon qualifying event for all our juniors aged 11 - 14u on the afternoon of the 19th April.

The winners of the boys and girls event will proceed to the County Finals in July and play on the grass courts at Court X with the County Winners progressing to the National Finals at Wimbledon.
